Review: Classic packing gauze, except it is marketed (and illustrated on the package) as something to be applied on top of the wound. That could definitely work, but main reason for getting a packing gauze, is to get a packing gauze! And it may be used in conjunction with just packing that joint cavity wound with a simple sterile gauze, putting the blood stopper on top. Just listen to your first aid instructor (certainly not me - I just have an opinion), and buy more of these - they are good. Review: Great to have but I wish it were longer

Bought this for adding to a trauma kit for that "just in case" situation. As fate would have it, I took a bit of the end of my thumb off with a kitchen knife. Too much for a bandaid, maybe enough to go to MedExpress. I decided to give this a try. Some of this and some self-adhesive wrap and in a couple of days things were good. Saved me $90 on the medical bill and I used about 1/4 of a strip. Yes, I would recommend this product. Hopefully you won't need to use it.

I hate being on a so called "blood thinner". They're the bane of folks with Cardio Issues. Can't even shave with a razor without making a bloody mess. Even worse, if you suffer a bad cut for whatever reason this will help bring the blood leakage to a stop. Keep some in the house and in your vehicles as well. The clotting agent really works. Get the powder form as well in your local Wallgreens Store. Goes by the name of "Bleed Stop".

Have it in my car first aid kit. Hope it will stay there until expires.
