Easy to install
They were just the boost my desktop memory needed. My computer is running as if it is a brand new machine. Had I known I could restore these sticks myself, I probably would have had all my desktops I threw away because they ran out of memory. They were easy to install and the computer recognized it right away. My twins are now on it browsing old pictures of them from my Facebook account from when they were 1 year old, they are now 15. Itโs nice to have a working desktop back in the house after having it sit since 2013 because we all went to chrome books and laptops. All those chrome books gave out, and all I had was old faithful desktop, so I looked up โhow to increased memory,โ on YouTube, and the rat was history. You can make your old desktop run like new again. Thanks again.

I bought this for an old Dell desktop optiplex 280, which I still use for legacy windows 2000 software that won't work on newer versions of windows. It had only 2 GB of memory. The BIOS on this machine (and Windows 2000) handle a maximum of of 4 GB of RAM. The motherboard has 4 DIMM slots. I removed the two original 1 GB memory chips and installed these new ones and rebooted. Everything worked fine. I see the 4 GB in the system info and noticed the improvement is processing time significantly. These chips look and fit like origonal items and are reasonably priced. Packaging was excellent. The chips were inside individual sealed plastic chip sleeves then placed in cushined envelope with obvious care. Thanks to Amazon one can still find these legacy electronic items in brand new state. And thanks to the vendor for paying such attention to the packing. One thing to remember is to check your PC documentation for the configuration of the DIMM slots. The chips must be placed in specific order not just in any RAM slot. Also be careful with static discharge that fry the chips without your noticing. At least touch the computer inside metal frame before you work on the chips or wear plastic gloves.

Compatible and great price
Being an older type of RAM, I expected second hand would be best price but this memory is a better price with twice the capacity of the used RAM I found. It arrived very fast and made the older computer seem so much newer - it booted fast and isn't swapping any longer since installation. I'm bookmarking this brand and this seller and plan on using them again.
