Love this iron. As a retired hair stylist, I WISH Hot Tools had made this available when I was working full time. What I love about it: Smooth barrel. Nicely weighted and balanced. Digital temperature setting that you can lock. Super fast heat up time! I highly recommend.

This is the only curling iron that can hold my curls. It is very easy to use for someone who is just learning how to use a clamp iron. It is really easy to control the heat level and you can lock in the temperature with a button. It is very lightweight and easy to travel with.

Live this iron. Super easy to use, heats up quickly, and looks great. The barrel is a bit long but I’m not mad at it. Fantastic for the price.

I picked up this Hot Tools curling iron after my L’ange curling iron quit on me in less than a year—super frustrating because I really liked how that one curled my hair. I was hoping this would be a comparable replacement.At first, I was skeptical. The finish on the wand isn’t as slick as the L’ange, and since I have somewhat frizzy hair, I wasn’t sure if it would smooth and curl the same way. But after using it a few times, I’m happy to report—it works great! My curls look nice, and it handles my hair better than I expected.One thing to note: the clip handle is a bit bulky and can be a long stretch to manage, especially if you have smaller hands or short fingers. Luckily, I’ve got what I call “man hands,” lol, so it’s not a deal-breaker for me. But it might be for others!Overall, I’m happy with this curling iron and would recommend it—just keep the handle size in mind depending on your hand size and grip strength.

I like that I can adjust the temperature to suit my babyfine hair to prevent breakage. Heats up in a hurry, but it does take a bit of time to cool down.

After using the iron with no issues for 4 months, this morning, while a section of my hair was being curled, the iron had some kind of heat surge. It burnt the hair in the iron and the temp lights began flashing. Once I unplugged and plugged it back in, it was responding normally again.Unfortunately, I now have a section of charred hair breaking off by the touch.

I LOVE this curling iron. I searched for a while for a long barrel curling iron that was at least 1 1/4. I finally chose this one and I’m glad I did! The curls is makes are beach waves which I wanted! Super easy to use. I like that the dial tells me what temp it’s on.
