Great knife, three years later.
Bought this one three years ago. Bought a second one for a co-worker. We were both using them again today talking about how well they have held up. Just ordered a third one for another co-worker. The belt clip doesn’t last long, as both my an my co-worker’s clips have been lost to time. But the knife itself has held the line. And because it’s such a cheap price, I’ve had no hesitation abusing it I’ve the years and it’s still doing great. Most of the black paint has worn of now, but and it looks a million years old, but still cutting like a champ. I sharpen it about once a month. Mostly used for cutting open boxes, cutting twine, and trimming plants at work (I work at a plant nursery).

Great knife
Super sharp and durable. Used this to cut thick twine for work. Still going strong after many years.

Amazing.
I don’t know how this is at this price point. Well designed. Comfortable. Looks great. Sharpened easily. Machining looks great. Hefty without feeling heavy. The handle feels good with my large hands whether holding traditional or inverted like a karambit. A shockingly amazing and fun knife. I’m gonna have to check out more of Mtech’s stuff. Couldn’t be happier.

Almost perfect.
Sharp & sturdy, especially for the price. Love the chunky handle. However, if you open the blade too quickly/hard, the liner lock goes too far in, and becomes impossible to close without a tool to snap it back in place. Not a complete disaster, just don't flick it open!

I'd say it's close to perfect
Seeing as this was merely 2.50$ as an addon item, it's more than I expected. It came razor sharp and feels pretty sturdy. Definitely one of my favorites. Usually goes for abiut 13-16$ so this was a great deal. The only problems are that the handle can be a bit awkward and the thumbstuds are indented so it's more like poking your finger in, and it could take a second to open... but then again you may never be in an emergency that urgent and it's made for specific grips

Solid build
I am a bit of a blade collector and have been for almost 50 years. I have a variety knives from a cheap Barlow from Pakistan to SOG, S&W, Applegate, custom Damascus, and everything in between. I own a number of Mtech knives as well. I have never been disappointed with Mtech and this is no exception. It is a solid knife. One thing to remember, a knife is a tool. As with any tool, you need to use the right tool for the right job. This is not a survival log splitter, deer skinner, trenching tool. This knife is a self defense tool and is very capable of that. I travel to some states that are not “knife friendly “ and this works with some of them. Check the laws of states you live in and travel to. Some states. Call the metal loop on the traditional Karambit a “metal knuckle “ that is why it is important to check the laws in the areas you carry. I feel totally comfortable with the quality of this knife.

Great Value
Unbeatable for the price. Comparable to much more expensive knives. Very sharp and surprisingly strong. I've purchased several of these and have given them away as gifts. Everyone who received one was happy with them and believes these knives are worth much more than the price would suggest.

Easily my favorite Amazon purchase of 2023
Better grip quality than a stock Honey Badger, and wont try to bite you like the talon II. Simple design, great feel and does what it needs to do, for $8 I modified it a bit for my needs by adding 1-1/4” more scallops and now it’s ready for fishing.

Awesome
A little heavy to place in pocket. Work great for me as a edc for my deliveries.
