It’s a good shampoo for hairs and smells really nice after washing hairs and hairs also get soft after shampooing.

I've been using Sunsilk Black Shampoo on and off since my teenage years — back when it used to come in small sachets, which I would eagerly tear open before every wash. Those sachets are no longer available where I live, so I now purchase the bottle. But the feeling of nostalgia and care remains the same. Like many others, I stopped using it once I entered college. That was a time of experimentation — different shampoos, trendy brands, and so-called “professional” haircare became a fad. I even went through several chemical treatments, including hair smoothening, thinking I was upgrading my hair routine. But all it really gave me was brittle hair, excessive hair fall, and a growing sense of regret. The imported shampoos recommended by salons, even with their labels shouting "sulphate and paraben free," only worsened my hair’s condition. They might sound good on paper, but they never delivered the promised results. It was then that I remembered the simple routine of my school days: my nani’s oil champis, my mother gently washing my hair with Sunsilk Black, and my hair being neatly plaited every day. My hair back then was healthy, shiny, and truly silky — something no chemical treatment could ever match. So, I made the switch back. Yes, Sunsilk Black contains sulphates and parabens — but it also delivers real results. My hair feels stronger, smoother, and visibly healthier now. It’s proof that sometimes the products we grew up with were right all along. Chemical treatments may offer temporary illusions, but Sunsilk Black brings back real hair health. And that, for me, is worth everything.
