I was looking for a small shaving brush that I could keep in my travel kit for use at the gym or when I'm traveling. When you take this Mühle brush out of the box, you will be immediately impressed by the quality construction of this item. The aluminum is precisely machined, and the mechanism for storing the brush inside the handle is totally awesome. In addition, when the brush is stored inside the handle, the top remains open so that the brush can continue to air dry when stored.The bristles on the brush are wonderfully soft, much softer than the other synthetic brush I'm using. So much so that I'm looking at getting another Mühle synthetic brush to replace my daily driver at home. Despite being so soft, the brush still provides enough backbone to work up a very nice lather on my face.If you need a compact travel brush that is high quality and a joy to use as part of your shaving routine, I'd strongly recommend this one.

Ordered this to replace an old travel brush I’ve used for years. I’ve always ordered natural brushes and this is my first synthetic brush. For what it’s worth, I shave face and my entire head. Also travel 80-100 days a year so this gets used frequently.Long story short, I’m beyond impressed at the brush for a variety of reasons:It lathers very well and rapidly (shaving stick for travel)I get a great lift on my whiskers for shavingIt’s easy to clean post-shave and dries rapidlyVery easy to store, easy to “build” and take apart when needed.I’ve used it a few times with just the brush component and not adding the case to brush to shave. That’s obviously a personal choice but I prefer using the entire built in handle to brush. Works better for me, especially when brushing the back of my head.This brush lives in my travel bag and is used exclusively for travel. Every time I use it it, it’s like it is brand new. Not going to lie, I almost look forward to shaving with this over my natural hair brushes.If for some reason this falls short, I will repost a review but I’d be surprised if that happens.

This synthetic brush is super soft and works very well. The travel design is very compact. Really glad I found this.

Although I purchased this for travel it has turned into my go-to brush that I use at home too. The size is perfect. It holds just enough shaving cream to lather up perfectly without wasting it.I have another brush with natural silvertip badger and I actually perfer this one. They really did a great job with it.

This overall is a great addition to my shave arsenal. It has a very small foot print and as you can see compared to my original travel set up is probably 75% smaller. The knot once out of the tube is a good size and for reference i have a 22mm knot and a 24mm knot for comparison. Im taking off one star for the knot itself. Its not as dense as i would expect from a name brand like Muhle and as a synthetic knot is not as soft as id like either. But thats more or less nitpicking what i would consider a great grab, especially if you travel often. Also it fits on a standard brush/razor stand

Great brush. Cool design. The aluminum body is light but sturdy. The knot fits nicely in the handle. It’s easy to press in, because the handle bends the fibers in the right direction. There are holes at both ends to permit air drying. The knot itself has good backbone but is also one of the softest I’ve tried. Softer than my silvertip badger. It also dries quickly and is compact for travel. It also is capable of whipping up a good lather. Highly recommended.

I use this shaving brush when I travel. It lathers my shaving cream well and dries properly between uses. I like storing this on a flat surface so that the water can drain. If it is in my travel bag, I keep it vertical for that reason. It works great for all my needs and it shows no wear or degradation.

Muhle Travel Brush is the fourth brush I've tried. The other three were from very familiar name venders. Muhle really stands head and shoulders above the others. It is soft and creates a very rich lather. I was a little concerned about the handle, but was pleasantly surprised. I love the control of the longer handle and ease in maneuvering the brush. This is a quality product!

Da ich auf Reisen nicht meinen teuren Dachshaar-Rasierpinsel mitnehmen möchte, musste eine andere Lösung her.Da Dachshaar in der Regel nicht so schnell trocknet, bin ich auf die Idee gekommen, dass ein Rasierpinsel aus Kunstfaser die bessere Wahl ist. Aus diesem Grund habe ich nicht lange gezögert und den Mühle Reisepinsel aus Silvertip Fibre bestellt.Der Rasierpinsel ist im Großen und Ganzen wirklich sehr gut verarbeitet und die Kunstfasern angenehm weich aber nicht zu weich. Schließlich soll auch noch Rasierseife oder -creme aufgeschäumt werden. Wenn man Rasierseife oder -creme aufschäumen möchte, dann benötigt man auf jeden Fall einen Pinsel, der über ein entsprechendes Rückgrat verfügt.Bei meiner ersten Rasur mit diesem Pinsel habe ich den Rasierseifen-Stick von Arko verwendet und ich hatte keine Probleme damit einen sahnigen, feinporigen Schaum zu erzeugen. Auch wenn der Kunstfaserknoten sehr handlich klein ist, gibt es überhaupt keine Probleme beim Aufschäumen von Seifen und Cremes. Nach der Rasur kann der Pinsel einfach mit lauwarmen Wasser ausgewaschen werden. Im Gegensatz zu Dachshaar- oder Borstenpinseln trocknen dieser Pinsel recht schnell und kann wieder in der praktischen Dose, die gleichzeitig auch als Griff eingesetzt wird, verstaut werden. Darüber hinaus befindet sich im Deckel ein recht großes Loch (in welches das Gewinde am Kunstfaserknoten geschraubt werden kann) damit die Kunstfasern auch während der Reise gut abtrocknen können. Das Loch ist gerade so groß, dass die Luft ausreichend zirkulieren kann und der Kunstfaserknoten in der Dose gehalten wird und nicht herausfallen kann.Die Montage des Pinsels ist sehr leicht. Man schraubt den Dosendeckel ab, zieht den Pinselknoten aus der Dose und verschraubt den Pinsel (der Kunstfaserknoten schließt, wie bereits erwähnt, mit einem kleinen Gewinde ab) mit dem Deckel. Im Anschluss daran wird noch die Dose angeschraubt, die als Griff sehr komfortabel in der Hand liegt.Dieses Produkt ist für die Freunde der klassischen Nassrasur, die nach einem handlichen Rasierpinsel für ihr Reise- und/oder Camping-Gepäck suchen, bestens geeignet. Nice compact shaving brush for travel and get a larger going much better than I expected (used with Speick shaving stick when cycle touring). Yes it's expensive, but usual Mühle quality. Knot is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but works well and is really easy to use and dry being synthetic.

J'ai reçu le blaireau hier. Le côté "voyage" me plaît bien dans la mesure où le pinceau se loge dans le manche. Sur le support Mühle, c'est la grande classe. L'usage d'une crème Rasopro rend le rasage encore plus agréable. De quoi donner l'envie aux hommes barbus de se raser définitivement la barbe

C’est une vraie machine à mousse. Je monte directement sur le visage la mousse (crème ou savon), rien à dire ça monte plus vite qu’avec un blaireau à vrai poils. Il faut juste un peu plus d’eau car le synthétique ne retient pas assez l’eau comme des vrais poils de blaireau mais sans plus.Le nœud fait 19mm et pour la touffe j’ai mesuré 50mm, il est comparable à un blaireau de taille classique chez certains fabricants si ce n’est que le nœud est un peu plus étroit (au lieu de 21mm). Pour un blaireau de voyage il fait très bien l’affaire.Le manche en acier est solide et offre une bonne prise en main.Je recommande.
