MÜHLE Travel Black Aluminum Silvertip Fibre Shaving Brush - Portable Synthetic Luxury Shave Brush for Men, Rich Lather

I was looking for a small shaving brush that I could keep in my travel kit for use at the gym or when I'm traveling. When you take this Mühle brush out of the box, you will be immediately impressed by the quality construction of this item. The aluminum is precisely machined, and the mechanism for storing the brush inside the handle is totally awesome. In addition, when the brush is stored inside the handle, the top remains open so that the brush can continue to air dry when stored. The bristles on the brush are wonderfully soft, much softer than the other synthetic brush I'm using. So much so that I'm looking at getting another Mühle synthetic brush to replace my daily driver at home. Despite being so soft, the brush still provides enough backbone to work up a very nice lather on my face. If you need a compact travel brush that is high quality and a joy to use as part of your shaving routine, I'd strongly recommend this one.

Ordered this to replace an old travel brush I’ve used for years. I’ve always ordered natural brushes and this is my first synthetic brush. For what it’s worth, I shave face and my entire head. Also travel 80-100 days a year so this gets used frequently. Long story short, I’m beyond impressed at the brush for a variety of reasons: It lathers very well and rapidly (shaving stick for travel) I get a great lift on my whiskers for shaving It’s easy to clean post-shave and dries rapidly Very easy to store, easy to “build” and take apart when needed. I’ve used it a few times with just the brush component and not adding the case to brush to shave. That’s obviously a personal choice but I prefer using the entire built in handle to brush. Works better for me, especially when brushing the back of my head. This brush lives in my travel bag and is used exclusively for travel. Every time I use it it, it’s like it is brand new. Not going to lie, I almost look forward to shaving with this over my natural hair brushes. If for some reason this falls short, I will repost a review but I’d be surprised if that happens.

Great brush. Cool design. The aluminum body is light but sturdy. The knot fits nicely in the handle. It’s easy to press in, because the handle bends the fibers in the right direction. There are holes at both ends to permit air drying. The knot itself has good backbone but is also one of the softest I’ve tried. Softer than my silvertip badger. It also dries quickly and is compact for travel. It also is capable of whipping up a good lather. Highly recommended.

Nice brush and very practical. I actually use this as my daily brush now because i enjoy the lighter weight and look. Well made and I would recommend.

Bought recently, used on 2 business trips. First experience with synthetic and Muhle’s proprietary fiber. Works very well. Easy, thick, smooth lather with Taylor of Old Bond Street. Found I did not need the travel bowl with this combo and stopped carrying one. Easy assembly and disassembly. Packs small, quick drying. Decent balance.

This is the perfect travel shaving brush. Compact when traveling but almost full size when using. Dries easily and is soft on the face! I prefer synthetic bristles like this since it seems a waste to of an animal to kill it for it’s hair and this is almost as soft was the real thing, especially when you consider the alternative of not using a shave brush when traveling! I couldn’t be more pleased!

Over the past few years I moved away from using shaving cream/gels and to shave soap. It's been really nice, and one puck of soap can last me several months. But, going anywhere with my full sized shave brush was a bit of a pain. Everything I tried wound up just making the shave brush take up even more space and it was getting frustrating. I stared at this brush off and on for quite a while before I finally decided to just punch the button. I'm glad I did. We took the kids on a short spring break vacation and I brought this along for its maiden voyage. The brush is very light weight, and when stowed for traveling it's very small. But, when you un-stow it and set it up for shaving it doesn't feel too small at all. It feels just the right size. The brush itself has a nice stiffness to it and made an excellent lather. I'm definitely looking forward to using this on future travels.

J'ai reçu le blaireau hier. Le côté "voyage" me plaît bien dans la mesure où le pinceau se loge dans le manche. Sur le support Mühle, c'est la grande classe. L'usage d'une crème Rasopro rend le rasage encore plus agréable. De quoi donner l'envie aux hommes barbus de se raser définitivement la barbe

C’est une vraie machine à mousse. Je monte directement sur le visage la mousse (crème ou savon), rien à dire ça monte plus vite qu’avec un blaireau à vrai poils. Il faut juste un peu plus d’eau car le synthétique ne retient pas assez l’eau comme des vrais poils de blaireau mais sans plus. Le nœud fait 19mm et pour la touffe j’ai mesuré 50mm, il est comparable à un blaireau de taille classique chez certains fabricants si ce n’est que le nœud est un peu plus étroit (au lieu de 21mm). Pour un blaireau de voyage il fait très bien l’affaire. Le manche en acier est solide et offre une bonne prise en main. Je recommande.

Buscaba algo para viaje y esta brocha es lo suficientemente pequeña como para llevarla en el neceser. Viene con un estuche de cartón, pero bueno, un poco endeble el estuche. En cuanto a la brocha, va contenida dentro de un cilindro y asegurada con un aro que hay que desmontar para sacarla y luego con el mismo aro va roscada al cilindro. Es muy suave a la cara es sintética pero para mí es suficiente y por el precio calidad me parece adecuado. Las instrucciones vienen en alemán y en inglés las pongo traducidas al castellano Instrucciones Cuando esté húmedo, evite guardarlo en recipientes cerrados como cajas de viaje o bolsas de baño. Limpieza: Vierta agua limpia en el centro del cabezal y frote el material varias veces desde diferentes ángulos. Asegúrese de que ni siquiera en el centro del cabezal, donde las cerdas se unen al mango, queden restos de espuma visibles. Evite usar agua muy caliente para enjabonar y enjuagar. La temperatura del agua no debe superar los 45 °C (115 °F). Para la limpieza, no utilice detergentes químicos, vinagre, Dettol, bórax ni sustancias similares. Esperamos que este producto le sea de gran utilidad.

Lovely quality and perfect for travelling away from home where space and weight saving is always under a squeeze. Still means I get the shave I want from shaving creams and soaps by owning this clever design :)
