This works
I had some ceiling drywall not taped and cracking were noticeable and this filler works great. Easy to use and easy to apply i would give it some weeks to see if cracking re appears.

Very hard to sand
I was doing a job and ran out half way, couldn't get the same replacement so got this one instead which sounded like the same thing a fine surface filler. The other was very easy to sand flat and smooth but this one dries so hard I had to sand it with a machine sander in order to get a smooth finish, would have taken me hours by hand. It's a good filler, dries extremely solid, but beware it is very hard to work with if you need to sand over a large area.

Good stuff.
I have used this stuff for decades it is great if you really want to fill those little blemishes when decorating, the drawback is it was in a tub so when you opened it a few times it would dry up by putting it in a tube you only squirt a little you require in the place you need it well done Polycell.

Unsure of suitability?
I’ve used this product before but this tube, although looks almost identical to my old one, actually states for wood repairs only which isn’t clear when ordering. I needed it for plaster repairs so I’ve used it anyway. Hopefully ok……

Not the easiest to work with - has it changed?
Been using Polycell brand for a long time. This time it seems to have changed in formulation. Used as a fine surface filler for a few mm of depth, it's stickier, dries faster and very hard once set - leave some proud of the surface and it'll be quite tough to sand flat. It still did the job but I'm wondering if it was the best stuff for the purpose.
