While these books may appear as simple children's activities, they are instead detailed and complete guides to college level work and textbooks, giving a new initiative to learning material. The color, details, and careful explanations included within these books complement work done in the classroom and in the field. Before paying out large sums for study guides, outside tutoring or online help, try this book. The colored frames are a great help.

Love this book! I am always finding plants and wondering what they are. This book being sectioned out by the color of the flower, has very clear pictures that make it easy to find the flower I am trying to identify. I have most if not all the Peterson identification books.

It's much smaller than I thought it would be, but there is a lot of information packed inside this little book!

We bought this book, along with several others, for our granddaughter who has a developing love of nature and all outdoor things. This book is a great way to get her started in the garden, not only can she learn the names of the flowers, but she can color them as well. I am looking forward to an exciting adventure this spring when we hit the flower beds!

Purchased as 'used' and it is in excellent shape! The book is thin with the most frequently found wildflowers, just what i needed for short hikes with the grand kids. Great pictures too.

For the size and amount of covered plants this was a terrific addition to a my Small group of books on similar subject!!! Illustrations are just right and helpful! Small enough in size to take in the field, a great start to identify a great variety of Wildflowers!

livret anglophone broché souple grand format ancien (1982) présentant 146 espèces emblématiques de plantes à fleurs (nord-américaines) en n&b prêts à être coloriés; 3 à 5 espèces par page; avec, en marge, une petite notice explicative; de temps en temps des scènes (marais par ex) regroupant plusieurs espèces numérotées); de petites images en couleur servant de modèles avec les numéros correspondants sont sur les pages de garde; ce livre de coloriage non exhaustif mais bien fait et sérieux sera parfait pour l'initiation à ces espèces d'enfants de plus de sept ans suffisamment soigneux et patients pour s'appliquer; je dois reconnaître avoir été favorablement surpris par la qualité de cette publication, ayant été échaudé par plusieurs tentatives précédentes, et je dois dire que j'ai enfin trouvé ce que je cherchais et j'envisage d'acquérir d'autres ouvrages de la même série (taper sur le moteur de recherche d'Amazon: Peterson coloring book); je pense qu'il vaut mieux préférer les ouvrages neufs même s'ils sont légèrement plus chers pour éviter le risque de se retrouver avec un exemplaire crayonné!
