Happy to report that this agrees with my super sensitive skin (first priority)! No breakout, itchiness or irritation! The color is great for my light/medium, olive-toned skin. It's late winter, so my skin tone is very uneven (par for the course for olive skin) and a few shades lighter than it will be come summer. This color matches the lighter parts of my face, but doesn't make me look ghostly or anything. Just needs a little bronzer around the hairline and cheeks to add back some dimension to my face. I might go a darker shade in the summer OR, I may just try using the Pur bronzer all over? We'll see! Anyway- as others have mentioned, application is everything! I first applied this with a beauty blender and it was a little bit cakey. It also left a hard spot on the makeup that I had to lightly scratch off with my fingernail. So then I used a flat top brush (like the chisel brush) and that worked great! It put on a nice, even coat- not too thick and not cakey. Then, the KEY, I've found is to give my face a light spritz of my Andalou Vitamin C toner! It adds just the tiniest bit of dewiness so my skin doesn't look "flat" and... voila! :) I asked my hubby to check it out in bright daylight and he said my skin looked nice and even, but he couldn't see the makeup- perfect!

This is by far the best coverage mineral make up. If you are looking for a heavy coverage mineral make up this is for you. I started using Bare Escentials make up when I was 40, as I got closer to 50 I needed a make up with a bit more coverage. I started using PUR MINERALS, I have normal skin, medium toned with large pores. I like the ease and flawless look of mineral powder make up. A few months ago I had my eyes done and my face laser resurfaced, this make up did awesome covering all the red on my face and did not irritate my new baby skin face. Now that I am all healed, I no longer need a heavy coverage make up, so I have started using Pure Minerals (Bare Escentials knock off). Pure Minerals colors run a bit lighter than Bare Minerals and coverage is not as good, but I don't need a lot of coverage, just a bit of shimmer and evening out. So not to confuse; PUR MINERALS is for HEAVY coverage and will not irritate your sensitive skin, BARE ESSENTIALS is for MEDIUM coverage, and PURE MINERALS is for LIGHT coverage. PUR MINERAL'S colors are true to their web site and they have an awesome selection.

This makeup is good but feels a little dry. From Pur Minerals I used to purchase...it seems to have changed and does not feel as nice and smooth or creamy as it used to. This product is super easy to apply and although you need to apply once a day you may need a touch up after eating or drinking.

I have used PUR for years, changing up my colors depending upon how tan I am. The powder is light but still gives great coverage over blemishes and pimples and just an overall evenness of the skin. I use it everyday and never feels or looks too heavy. When going out or wearing more makeup I will use it over liquid foundation or in combo with highlighter and blush.

I don't wear a lot of makeup and when I do I keep it very simple and light. That said, I'm no expert, just your average girl who cleans up sometimes.-Ease of use: This product is easy to use and straightforward. One and done.-Compact and packaging seem to be of good quality (dense, pretty).-Shade: Matches my skin color, luckily! (I've attached a closeup selfie wearing nothing at all but the powder in order to help others decide on their possible shade- I got light tan. FYI: my skin is at its lightest this time of year/ I'm a shade darker in the summer, I'm 33, dry skin).-Coverage: It's pretty lightweight coverage but I wouldn't go as far as saying it feels 'barely there.' It's definitely there. However, to be honest, I don't have a need for coverage for things like wrinkles or acne. Basically I just want something to complete my look when I do up my eyes and lips.Pros: Built-in SPF! Cons: Doesn't come with applicator. Purchase kabuki brush separately.

I have yet to find another that works as well as this one. I have very red, blotchy skin. Mild rosacea with dryness. This makeup totally covers it with the minimal amount of product. I have always hack to cake it on to cover and keep it covered throughout the day. One application of Pur lasts me all day and it doesn't look like I am wearing makeup. I tell people I won't go out without makeup on and they always comment "You don't look like you are wearing any." My face looks flawless, completely blended (no color lines), and best of all the redness doesn't show.Fortunately for me the color itself has not changed. With sun tans or lack of sun, I have remained Light Tan. Originally I went to a place called Alta for a make-over and they nailed the color. Don't think I would have chosen this for myself but so thrilled they did.It goes on smooth and stays on without drying my face.
