Rockford Fosgate for the win!!!
I haven't installed speakers in my trunk for YEARS, but for unforeseen reasons, I found myself re-living my old teenage days, but this time with adult money. WOW!!! I could really never afford Rockford Fosgate when I was a teenager but I always heard there's a difference in the budget stuff I was buying and these... as an adult, I can confirm... these ROCK!.... I don't have nearly the amount of noise (loudness) that I would have used when I was a teenager but I tuned them (just for kicks and giggles) and it will make my truck rattle!!!! Again, I'm more in the market of deep, clear bass that can be confused for quality OEM bass at medium to low volumes and this achieves that. At low volumes you could confuse it for high quality OEM bass but when I keep increasing the volume and the subwoofer keeps performing, you'll realize this speaker has allot more to give. WOULD RECOMMEND,

Cheap, realiable, low-end alternative
About two years ago I ran 2 of these subs in a 4 door accord, and I have missed the sound ever since I sold them. I currently have a truck, and the old sub i had just couldn't hit the low end just right, but these do, everytime. A very cheap, efficient, and good looking alternative to other items. I have this single 2ohm sub coupled with 6x9 American Bass speakers, and the crossover, clarlity, and durability is unmatched. If you want a durable subwoofer than can take a beating, Rockford always wins. My buddy has the same sub running off of a 900w amp, and has been For 3 years now. For the SQ you get with this, even in a small ported truck box, you just can't beat it.

These sub's are amazing. Absolutely great. What else can you expect from Rockford though? I got them in 1 BUSINESS DAY! Ordered them on Friday with 2 day shipping. Said they would arrive on Monday and got them on Saturday. Absolutely amazing. I would reccomend these to anyone. And with prime membership the discount is UNBELIEVEABLE. Ordered 2 for $115 shipped.

only the low bass sounds really good but other than that it sounded like crap and ...
Try to put in my truck style box and it wouldn't fit cause of the rubber on the magnet, took it off and it fit. My boxes are .7sft sealed, got a 500 rms rf amp pushing the two tens,now with all the adjustments to my amp and HU, only the low bass sounds really good but other than that it sounded like crap and wasn't very loud. It might be the box or the subs are under rated and I don't have enough watts. So I put my r1's back in, they freakin pound. Was disappointed, but I still got them and will try them on my next project. Changed my stars to 4. Made a sealed box, .77 per chamber, got about 4 inches between magnetic and box , and I must say not bad at all. Running 500 watts to each sub and they are punchy. Went for sq on this setup I got going and so far it hasn't really struggled hitting different notes but they love rap and dubstep type bass songs. If you smother them with a lot of stuff in your trunk,or have a standard cab truck and they're up against your back seat they won't sound good at all.

Buy it for sure...AWESOME
I have this in a folded horn/bass reflex design and let me tell you, this sucker is fantastic. Im all about sound quality, and i experimented with this in that particular design, and after two builds, i have it tuned to perfection. The enclosure is huge, but reaches down to 26 hertz and it seems like its barely moving. If you have the room for it, this sub in a horn is magic. All youll need to do is to nail stuff down in your house.

Excellent quality sub. Sounds great.
Installed in a .72cf sealed box with 340RMS. After some break in time and music file and system tweaking I turned my Eq and amp gain to near max. This Rockford Fosgate 10" is nice! Pounds good for a single sub setup. Eq's and input levels changes work great. Sounds nice and smooth when it needs to be. Perfect in the rear of my Toyota pickup. Highly recommend. (Amp is Sound stream Class AB Rubicon 5chn. 800.)

Excellent!
Very well made sub. Clean bass and hits very well with the proper amp, and I'm only using one. I got mine installed today and can't be happier! It also come with a control gauge that you can mount anywhere to easily change the amount of bass. For this price, you shouldn't look anywhere else.

Defective batch
I went through 3 of these subwoofers that were professionally installed by a shop. The first 1 the glue came undone from the cones. The second 2 they stopped working altogether. Didn’t expect this bad quality through Rockford fosgate. As they are one of the leaders. Maybe when they switched production to China is when the quality degraded.
