Better Boat Clear Waterproof Tape for Leaks Heavy Duty Marine Grade Seal Tape, 15 ft x 4 in, Invisible Repair, Pools, Shower, Windows

I bought this to patch a split in my in ground pool liner. The liner is 11 years old and will be replaced when I open the pool next spring, but I didn't want water to get behind it. I bought this very heavy clear waterproof tape to keep the split from spreading further. When I opened the package, the edges of the tape felt like mouse trap glue - it was that sticky. The tape is very heavy vinyl (I ordered clear), with a peel off clear plastic film over the adhesive side. It was very easy for me to unroll some and cut it to the correct length, peel off the plastic film, and apply it over the split in the pool wall. The tape sticks very well and you can't even see it. Time will tell if it yellows, but it should get me through the winter. If it holds up well enough, I may be able to delay replacing the liner for a year! Good stuff!

I just received this so have not tried it as of yet, got it to repair a tear in my spa from the wind blowing over my Gazebo and causing a tear in the spa. I am hoping it works, as it says waterproof. I put a regular pool patch on it that came with it, but as soon as I aired it up it came off. I put Alien tape on it as I patched a 26ft X 54ft deep pool and it held for years! This looks like it will work in larger areas! I got it and put it on a tear on my spa, it seems to be holding, since the tear was on a seam had to put 2 strips on it, but it's holding so far! It's supper tacky so you have to make sure you put it where you want it in the first try. It says it's not repositing, but I did. still worked. The roll is bigger than I thought which is a good thing. I'm going to order more for other projects, but this roll has a lot on it. You have off the protective strip to keep it from sticking to it's self, but that lets you peel off just what you want when placing it. It's one tape that actually works in a larger area. I am very pleased with it. Came fast so the seller is on top of their purchases.

Like many of you who buy this tape, you’re looking at a less expensive alternative to other manufacturers (FlexTape and Gorilla Tape, et al). That’s why I purchased this tape. You get twice the amount of tape for the same price as those other two. Well, after giving it a try I can tell you that it just isn’t good enough. I have continuous problems with my above-ground pool liner. It’s always my fault as I am too aggressive with cleaning and I cut or puncture the liner. In the past, I just used FlexSeal, FlexTape or Gorilla Tape to make the repairs….and they worked well. When I ran out of those, I bought this tape because it seemed much less expensive…almost 60% less. Well, I gave it a try, applying it just like I did with the other brands, and it failed miserably. It didn’t adhere to the pool liner. As a matter of fact, it peeled up almost immediately. I went ahead and ordered the tried-and-true good stuff and will stick with that (pun intended) from now on. Too bad as I really wanted this to work.

This is heavy duty tape. I used it on the underside of my wood hatch covers on my kayak to help get a better seal against the gasket. It works super sonic good. Two things to consider: 1. once this tape is on, it is not coming off. 2. The adhesive does migrate a little to the edge of the tape after a couple of months. No big deal to me, but you might have to clean it with solvent or sprinkle talcum powder on it.

Very thick, very clear, very sticky. I don't understand how some reviews said it was thin. Be careful when you open it... I took off the colorful outer layer, but then also took off a layer of clear film, which is actually the film protecting the stickiness. I wasted about a foot. Seems like a good deal for how much you get! I used this to repair a lawn furniture cover and plan to use it on some cracked vinyl boat cushions.

It's very strong repair tape u like many other repair tapes and it will allow you to use in the water, SORT OF!!!. I had a small , I mean very small pin hole in the side of my pool and I repaired it easily however within an hour water started to trickle out of the tape. With that being said I do believe that it wouldn't have leaked had I not had the pool already full when I repaired it. I have used many other methods of trying to repair an old pool that a cat had used as a cat scratch or something and after going through hundred dollars and exhausting repairs I ended up throwing the pool away. But this tape would have worked better for me if the pool wasn't full. However I think that it does work well in under the water applications as long as inside pressure from the water isn't a factor. Very strong tape and adhesive though. I will def use the tape again. I'm glad I purchased it.

great boat tape. Has worked, and continues to work as expected to day one. And I applied it to a wet surface.

my rear window was shattered with rock from lawn mower this is on 2014 Cadillac dts and no window in usa. so I covered it with this tape and no leaks car works fine and window will not fall apart love the car and drive it every day thanks for a very good waterproof tape Frank

Let ve it. Waterproof sticks to anything almost like a very thick plastic very solid and very very sticky.
