basaho CLASSIC Zafu Meditation Cushion | Organic Cotton | Buckwheat Hulls | Removable Washable Cover

Used this a few times now and it is just what a zafu cushion should be. It's a simple, straightforward, well made, lined and fully stuffed cushion, from which you can remove however much of the buckwheat hulls you need to for tuning your preferred fit (in my photos I have already removed some of the filling. It was fully stuffed when it arrived). I love the colour, the material is sturdy and well constructed with well placed zips, and I like the removable cover not only for potentially cleaning but it adds to the overall quality too. The inner lining cushion is equally well made. It's a great size and perfectly supportive for me (a 6’3” bloke) and I can see it lasting a very long time. There's nothing fancy here just simple high quality and function, and I can't imagine anything else being more suitable than this for the job. I can’t speak to the actual durability yet, but quality materials and good construction point towards a potentially long life.

Use to supplement zazen practice at home and works for me. Well made, sturdy. Best price I could find for zafu of this type. Delivered on time.

I’ve had this cushion in my Amazon wish list for a few months the but didn’t make the purchase as I felt it was a lot to pay for a cushion. However, I made the splurge and I wish I’d done it sooner. I removed about four cups of buckwheat hulls and now I’m able to sit for as long as I want in absolute comfort. My sit bones are well supported and the cushion moulds to my body perfectly. The quality of the fabric, zips, and stitching is excellent, and I can see having this cushion with me for many years to come, making it great investment.

I love these! I bought two. They are beautifully made and appear well stitched. The zafu has an outer coloured cover with a super concealed zip running round the inner circle of the base. The inner bag of husks can be emptied slightly to make it softer but I didn’t feel the need. I would definitely recommend them to others. They are lovely to sit on but also look great in my sitting room when I am not meditating...it’s a win win! The price was also very competitive in comparison to other similar products and they came next day. Thank you guys I’m hoping to order more in different colours 😊

Great colour. Beautiful material. Highest build quality. Intelligent design; a robust handle; the zip terminates and tucks away beneath the handle. The inner cushion lining is as well made as the outer, too. It looks great and fits my skinny rear-end perfectly! As for comfort: I find it a hard and uncomfortable cushion. It actually hurts to sit on for anything more than 5mins. And I bought it ťo bolster a chair that has a 'cushion' so thin and uncomfortable it may as well not be padded at all! I removed about a handful of the Husks but the discomfort remains. I might remove more Husks, to see if it becomes more comfortable. If I do, and it does, I'll edit this review and give 5 stars instead of 4. The Husks are very small and I was surprised at that, and that they scatter easily, so if you're adjusting yours, ensure you've got newspaper or similar underneath onto which you can allow for the Husks to spill. I paid 28£ for this and I'm quite, if not completely, dissatisfied. Comfort, I actually expected that to be guaranteed!

Oh my :) I really so happy with the Basaho Classic Zafu Meditation Cushion.. I didn't have to remove any Buckwheat hulls. The cushion is Just right for me the way it is, nice & firm, comfortable and held my posture much better. I was to and throw all the time from sitting on a settee, to sitting on the floor or doubling up my bed pillows to sit on to Meditate and to get the upright position etc but i felt a little uncomfortable all the time while I was meditating. What a big difference using this Zafu Cushion, i became grounded right away and Meditating was so much better.. Plus a very good quality Meditation Cushion & well made. Definitely recommended. Thank you :)

El cojín es muy bueno, cómodo y practico, la funda es fácilmente extraíble para lavarlo. Puedes quitar un poco de relleno si prefieres el cojín más bajo. Quiero usarlo para meditar y para realizar determinas asanas de yoga.

Bovete kan vara et bra fyllnadsmaterial för en zafu. Är meditationskudden väldigt liten blir det dock motsatt effekt; materialet trycks ihop och kudden upplevs som väldigt hård. Så är det gällande denna kudde tyvärr.

I got this cushion about a year ago, and it’s still holding up like a champ. The quality is top-notch, made from thick, durable canvas that looks fantastic in my bedroom. Plus, it’s the perfect size and height for my meditation sessions.
