Works very well! Better than any adhesive warm pack I’ve ever used. I like that it’s actually “hot” and not like the burning icy hot feeling. It’s like a portable heating pad on my neck. The only thing is that you gotta put it on once correctly or else it’s not gonna stick very well. I learned that after making adjustments (the neck area is harder to stick too since it’s not flat like low or mid back is), so I used tape to keep it on. I found that after an hour or so with the tape, the product was sticky again so I didn’t need the tape anymore. It really helps the pain from my chronically stiff muscles.

These help ease pain and muscle tension. Can be hard to stay in place when sleeping. Also, skin needs to be moisture free to adhere and stay in place.

I bought the Thermacare Heat Wraps for neck pain, muscle stiffness, and joint discomfort, and they work really well. I use these heat patches on my neck, and the gentle heat lasts up to 12 hours. The wrap stays warm (not too hot), and it provides steady, soothing heat therapy that helps relax tight muscles. My only issue is that the heat wrap doesn’t always stay in place. The adhesive strips on the ends could be stronger. That’s why I removed one star. It would be great if Thermacare added a middle adhesive tab or made the tabs larger to improve the fit. Overall, this is an effective heat wrap for neck and shoulder pain, and I will continue to buy it.

Best Buy Ever This product helps achy, muscles, tired bones.. and it also lasts for six hours long so if you’re on the go, it’s a great thing to have. I think it’s the best product out there.

The best self sticking heat patch we’ve found

The paper is not soft at all, but very coarse and scratchy, thereby negating what might have been relief. Heat is slight and superficial, frustrating when deep heat is needed. After ten minutes of tolerating it anyway, trying to convince myself that "it's better than nothing", it was tossed.

Update: I've now started purchasing the 11-pack box; it is by far the best deal on a per-unit basis. Still very happy with the quality and performance. Also, the expiration is more than two years out, so plenty of time to use them. Original Review: I've purchased these a couple of times, and they are the same as what you get in a store, but they come in a shrink-wrapped/bulk package. The expiration date on these is several years out, so no worries about them not working in the near future. Even though these are for neck and shoulder, I use them for lower back pain. They are much smaller than the back heating pads from ThermaCare, and for the pain I have, they work great. I often put them on when I go to bed at night, and they are still warm in the morning. The smaller size, compared to the back ones, makes them less bulky and easier to wear for longer periods. Highly recommend these; have not found any other one-time-use alternatives that work as well.
