Its as sharp as a Swiss knife; it cut through tough thick nails like butter. I prefer having a flat nail cutting edge like this particular nail cutter. The finish, the grip and the performance of the nail cutter is top-notch. The size is also perfect for fingernails and toes. Considering its cost, it is value for money.

straight nail cutter for toenail so to not get ingrown toenail or otherwise you would have to undergo ingrown toenail surgery. curved nail cutter is for finger nails [see attached photos] main lever is cheap plastic[not sure if is strong though] upper lever is decent matte plastic[not sure if is strong though] pin/bolt is metal and painted black[not sure if is strong though] nail file is a cheap sticker clipper catcher is cheap plastic but do catch cut nails below and upper straight blades are sharp and can cut thick hard nails easily with a little push on lever[don't know how long this sharpness will last though] the main base feels stainless steel[but not sure, if it is really though] for more, just see the attached photos.
