Great use for oil painting

Feels cheaply made
Easy to clean brushes with and does the job but feels cheaply made and fragile. Just don’t vigorously clean your brushes like an animal and you’ll be fine.

Just what I needed at an excellent price
Compact, durable and perfect for watercolor projects. For other applications I have no vew. I particularly like the little coiled spring, the closeable lid, and the ease of cleaning and durability.

Coil not stiff enough
Junk. Don't buy. The wire cleaning coil is not stiff enough. The coil collapses too far down in the jar when used. Hobby lobby has a much better version for 11.99.

I wish these jars were glass
These are not glass jars. I don’t like leaving strong chemicals in them. I actually remove the springs and put the springs into other glass jars. I’m using the plastic jars for other things. I really wish they had been glass.

Work as intended
The springs might not be as "stiff" as you might expect, but that's fine. The only point to the springs is to provide a texture to rub your brushes against to work the paint out of the bristles. Pros: Works exactly as intended. In every fashion you'd expect. Cons: Cleaning is a bit annoying. The spring is sized PERFECTLY for inside the container (which is good), but the perfection makes removing the spring to properly clean mildly annoying. Only mildly though. You'll still remove it properly to clean it, it just takes a few seconds longer wrestling it.
