Nice doorstop machined from solid stainless steel. Does the job. Stops a door. Even a big beefy solid-core door. I have a tile floor on a concrete slab, so I used an impact drill and masonry bit to drill a mounting hole into the floor. I inserted the expansion bolt and tightened it up. The doorstop screws onto the top of the expansion bolt. Job done. If you have a wood floor, you can just drill holes for the wood screws and use them to attach the mounting plate. I see a review complaining that the buyer didn't know how to install it, so it got one star. Would you have that same difficulty? Here's what you need to know. Do you have a powered drill and drill bits? Can you use it to drill mounting holes in your floor? Can you install the mounting screws or expansion bolt into the holes that you drilled? If so, you can install this doorstop. If you can't do these things, don't buy this doorstop.

So much better than using old style spring doorstops. Double check your mounting location, especially if flooring is tile on concrete. We installed 13 without issues… recommend having a can of air spray to clear out drilled hole, check proper depth. You do not need to use washer or nut, only bolt and sleeve.

Yeah, its a bit smaller than I would have liked (I knew that going in), but this thing is ALL stainless steel, even the hardware. Usually they cheap out, but not with this one.
