Wish I’d read the reviews
This is purely a decorative latch, it does NOT ACTUALLY WORK AS A LATCH. The top half of the latch is flat, there’s nothing for the bottom half to grab onto, you could literally close the latches, put padlocks on them, and then open it anyway with no effort just by pulling the latch toward you. Might be great for magicians or something, but this is not at all what it’s advertised as

This latch looks ok in pictures, but is too light duty to function as a latch.

Cheap and hard to use
The material is thin and low quality. Once installed, the clasp is flush with the base, making it hard to undo the clasp. You have to put your fingernail or something flat under it to get it to release.
