Bapmic 6HP26 Transmission Oil Pan W/Drain Plug Gasket and Bolts Compatible with BMW 745Li X5 24117571227

Perfect fit and had all parts in description. Excellent u-tube video on 2008 BMW x5 trans fluid change. This kit needs the four short, small different length tubes to make kit complete. If you are going to drop the trans oil pan and the valve module and replace that circular tube that goes into the right rear of the trans and the double gasket (bridge gasket), you also need to replace the four tubes. Not a very difficult job after seeing video as it also shows the torque sequence and values. Very important stuff. Also, my stuff arrived quickly and intact, however I can see why some folks maybe didn't receive all parts. The packaging for shipping could be much better. The box has to be as large as the pan and all other parts were just put loosely in the box. The shipping label was placed over the end tab of the box to keep it closed. The label was torn in two and the box could have easily opened and spilled the loose parts from the box. The plastic bag containing the pan bolts had split open and all screws were loose in the box and would have been lost if the box had come open. Pan with filter, "O" tube, double gasket and screws fit perfectly, but you need tubes and better packaging. Thanks, Tom

Change this for my 2008 X5 4.8i. Works great! Couldn’t ask for a better price and quality. Recommend getting the 4 tube seal also.

I installed this transmission pan myself I had know problems on top it cam with all new bells and whistles so I can’t complain at all 👍🏿

Fit my BMW 650 just fine.

Just what the doctor ordered, for much cheaper than the dealer. Something inside the pan was rattling around in the filter, probably casting flash or something that will get caught in the filter media so I didn't worry about it.Don't forget the 4 tubular seals that also fit between the valve body and trans as well, this kit doesn't include those but you still need to replace them.

My mechanic wouldn't change the "lifetime" fluid in my X5 with 105k miles. My son and I took it on with this kit. It took some work to get the pan off, pull the mechtronics and then replace all the seals between the transmission and the mechtronics. The replacement pan went on fine and now the episodes of rough shifting are gone. Not that I have a clean pan/filter I'll probably change just the fluid again in about 30K miles. Just remember, the factory fluid is life of the TRANSMISSION, not life of the CAR.

Badly manufactured. All the fluid leaked out over several months. Upon inspection, O-ring seat was rough causing damage tp O-ring. Sealed with Black Max RTV and hoping for the best may have to replace it.
