For many years I suffered with a spice cabinet full of mismatched jars of spices that made finding what I needed frustrating at best, or a nightmare scenario involving cocoa powder everywhere. Then I bought a bamboo spice jar holder. It is basically a box full of dividers that evenly make little boxes just big enough for spice jars. There was just one problem. The jars were still a hodgepodge of round and square jars from a dozen different manufacturers and none of them had labels on their lids. When I needed a particular spice I either had to remember where it was in the box or pull, check, put it back, and repeat until I found what I was looking for. It was not optimal. I decided to buy a set of square glass spice jars so that the rack would at least have uniformity in the jars themselves. Then I discovered these jars with labels and my heart sang! They have labels for all of my spices and even included blanks and a special pen so I could label my own. It pushes all of my OCD buttons and brings me tremendous joy every time I look at them. A friend of mine, with a similar penchant for neatness, saw them and insisted I share a link right away. He proudly sent me a picture of his spice drawer a few days later! I highly recommend this product!

The jars arrived quickly and in good condition. Not one was chipped or broken. There are 2 different sets of labels, both of which have a wonderful selection of spices to choose from. There is a white pen to use on the blank black labels if you use a spice not listed or a homemade blend. The lids fit perfectly and the inside top has a shaker and a larger opening allowing the spice to be poured for easier measuring. The only drawback is that the jar does NOT hold 4 ounces. The jar and lid weigh 3.56 ounces empty. Using the included funnel, I was able to get at most a 2- ounce jar of a ground spice into the new jar by tamping down the spice. My 4-ounce jars of spices are still in their original bottles. That being said I would make this purchase again. I have more room in the cabinet and the uniform jars present a clean and organized appearance.

So many spice name choices and great font

I love how it looks, there’s a lot of labels, it fits perfectly in 2 rows inside the magnetic shelves I bought to put on the side of my fridge. The funnel is very good, it’s silicone, and the smaller opening is large enough to make it easy to dry it after you rinse it between filling up different spice jars. Only problem is that one of the jars came broken, I requested a replacement, they sent a whole new box (the experience with the replacement was great), I returned the first box, but then as I was removing one of the plastic sifter discs, even though I was careful, I ended up breaking the edge of the glass jar just from pulling the disc out. The part that broke stayed “glued” to the disc, so I don’t know if it was kinda glued and that’s why it broke when I tried to separate them. But it only happened to this one. I think it was a good purchase, all in all.
