Brother PT-P710BT Etikettendrucker, P-Touch Cube Plus, Etikettierer, Verbindbar (PC und Bluetooth), Schwarz, 6.1 x 11.5 x 11.5 cm

Klare Empfehlung

This printer is one of a number of Brother printers recommended by Tom Alphin for printing his Lego labels, and it delivers the goods and then some. It can be a bit fiddley to print a label just how you want it but that's because of the huge number of settings available. I bought it primarily to print labels for the drawers that hold my large Lego collection of parts as identified by Tom. I also use it to print labels for items I have bagged for storage and even one labels that act as sticky notes. The variety of colours and sizes of tape is considerable as is their availability in compatible formats. However, I went a bit OTT when I bought a good selection of these but rarely use them as I tend to stick to 12mm and 24mm black ink on white. If you intent to buy this little printer, I would suggest you buy a couple of sizes you think you might need for specific jobs before you branch out on the others available. The fact that compatible cassettes are easy to buy on Amazon and do the job just as well in my opinion is a big bonus. My Cube is not the wireless version but works from a supplied USB that is plugged into your computer. It's a tough little thing that's been knocked about quite a bit by me and has shown no sign of damage. The label print quality is very good and the backing strip is in two pats and is easy to peel off. If you have sausage fingers like me use a pair a tweezers to do this. You will inevitably waste a lot of tape while learning how to use this printer. Experimenting with all the icons that are on offer will add to this waste. Eventually I settled on just what I wanted from it and very rarely use all these extras that are on offer.

After many years of use, my handheld labeler died (well the batteries leaked and made it unusable). I purchased this Bluetooth version as I disliked using the keyboard on the old one. This cube has been awesome so far. Creating labels is simple, with lots of templates to make it easy. I like the variety of tapes available for this machine - from widths to 24mm, glitter labels and even ribbons. I'm a bit excited (sad I know) about all the things I can create labels for now.
