Nikken Knife, Japanese Sword, Paper Knife, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Model KT-22I

It makes for a very striking desktop accessory. These are made in Gifu- the capital of sword and knife making. Blade is a little dull- but that's okay for a letter opener. I sharpened mine.

Would give this item a 5 out 5of except the blade is so so dull.....impossible to open letter with it. Fit& finish good (Plastic) I thought for the price it would be wood. Makes good desk ornament until I figure out how to sharpen. That's the scoop, Arizona Don🌵

just as pictured and looks very attractive. the stand is a bit flimsy but the recipient doesn't actually use the stand

Appearance wise it looks great. It isn’t sharp enough to cut through envelopes. I spend more time trying to sharpen this tiny blade to even be able to slice through envelopes.

Saw this in Japan and bought in a shop for half the price, but it got taken at airport security from me, so I reordered it on Amazon. It’s been a month now and I find it slightly flimsy for the price

ペーパーナイフとしての精度は多少犠牲にしても良いと思って、見た目重視で購入したけれど、 本来の役目も充分に果たしてくれる優れもの

見た目と裏腹に切れ味は良くないです（笑） 砥石で研いだら少しよくなりました。 気に入っています(^^)

ペーパーナイフなので人を傷つけてはいけませんが、刃先を鋭角にしなくてもいいが、少し削りが荒すぎるので星3つにしたが、装飾はそれなり以上のものと思う。

出来栄えがとても良い。飾りとして十分楽しめます。切り味は、それなりです。悪くはないがよくもない。耐久性は今後次第です。
