Super easy, safe
Incredibly easy, we just put a tiny bit of peanut butter or nuts in these, the mice go right in overnight and are humanely held until we release them deep in the woods the next day. We get a few mice each season, these work every time.

Great mouse trap!!
noticed something was invading the pop tarts and chips in the cupboard, now we just cant have that, those are my pop tarts and will fight for them!! didnt want the old style of muder, death, kill snap traps in the house, them can make such a mess if the critter explodes, and then theres the old getting my finger snapped while setting problem.ordered some of these live traps, not that i am a mouse lover, cant stand the rodents, but again, didnt want the mess in the cupboard.loaded it up with the tasty peanut butter the little varmits love so much, it wasnt in the cupboard more than 30 min and we got the first one. took him for a ride to the park and set him free, was kind of awful though for him, as he ran off a hawk swooped down and got some lunch, o well, it tried but that ol circle of life thing, hmmmpf.re-set it and got 3 more of them so it seems there was a party and my pop tarts were the main dish.we live in the country so critters are gonna try to come in when its warm, but we cant have any freeloaders enjoying my heated space and snacking on my pop tarts.so now one stays in the cupboard and 3 in the garage, caught a couple in the garage trying to infiltrate the front lines. got about 12 in total, didnt see the hawk anymore so they had that going for them.great traps, easy to use, humane (if thats a thing for you) easy to release the little buggers and easy to clean with the included brush.

Fantastic Product, but....
Absolutely outstanding!!! I catch mice in these traps all the time - - because I am convinced they consider them a "revolving door!" I wish I could "tag" the mice as my wife and I are convinced the same ones (and maybe a few cousins) keep coming back in the house after I set them free (even away from the house) and head right for their peanut butter or cheese buffet!! (Yes, simply drop in a piece of cheese as a diet alternative...).In about four months I have captured and released 84 mice from these traps so far!! Not an exaggeration!! I wish I had a mouse silhouette on a stencil so I could continually display my "victories" like the WWII pilots did on their aircraft....We live in the country, so we can expect mice. Cannot find out where they get in, regardless of our precautions. So, traps are necessary. Don't want to kill the mice if avoidable. These are fantastic and very, very easy to use!! Ignore comments about trouble opening the bait door. Just lift it with a flat knife or your fingernail.OK, why have I docked this one star??? Because many of the captured mice have chewed off the tiny plastic locking mechanism thus destroying the trap for continued use. I have bought a total of 15 of these traps over three months, and am now down to only two that mice have not chewed that piece off while waiting to be freed!!! Yes. I check several times each day. None are captive more than a few overnight hours, and are safely released. If the manufacturer would replace that tiny plastic locking fixture with a metal one, it would be perfect!!! Otherwise, the concept of this trap is absolutely outstanding! Wish we found them long ago.

The traps worked perfectly, and best of all it's a humane way to deal with mice
I noticed a corner of a box of breakfast bars chewed up on my garage shelf. From my experience 10 years ago, I knew I had mice. 10 years ago, I went to my local hardware store and purchased the cheapest solution, the sticky/glue paper. They worked well, but I felt horrible the next morning when I caught 3 baby mice and an adult. They were alive, trying to pull themselves free, and I am sure they were suffering. Then I had the dirty deed of deposing live mice. Not this time, there had to be a better and more humane way to resolve my mice issue. I searched Amazon and I found these humane and reusable traps. I ordered a pack of 4. On the day of delivery, early that evening I put peanut butter in the bait compartment and put the four traps against the walls in my garage. I was curious so I checked them before I went to bed, and I had already caught 3 mice, all alive. I was surprised to catch 3 mice in less than 4 hours. I put the traps in a brown paper bag (I thought that would keep the mice calm), drove to a nearby wooded park, pushed the spring doors open, and the mice ran off. In my mind they ran off happy and free. Within 4 days I caught a today of 9 mice, all were alive and it was so easy to set them free. The traps worked perfectly. I caught mice without hurting them and was able to set them free easily without touching them. It was very easy to clean the traps, the bait compartment is removable. I used the traps multiple times and had no issues. The price of the traps are very reasonable, just under $4.25 per trap and they will last a lifetime, while the glue paper and other traps are one and done. I am so glad I purchased these traps, they worked exactly as advertised and did not have to feel horrible about killing mice- my kids thought it was cool as well that I set them free each day.
