Impressive product.
Clear instructions for fitting meant the 2 cameras and cables were installed easily enough. Handy the power for the rear cam comes from the front so no tapping to the car’s lights. The video quality is very good with an impressive front wide angle. The screen is a check but when viewed on my mobile the results are impressive. I can’t comment on night vision as yet. When purchased, the price was very competitive and combine this with good build and video quality and it’s an easy recommendation. One aspect I struggled with was pairing with my phone. I got about 90% done ok but I managed not to get it right and was ‘missing’ something. An email to RT Customer Services sorted it all out. Emma was outstanding with her prompt reply and list of points to answer my query. Nothing was too much trouble to complete the installation including a late finish I do think. I’d read favourable reports about the RT Customer Services: they are true. Recommended, highly.

Best dash cam
Best dash cam I have ever used the image and video quality is top notch. Very easy to setup and installation is damn easy straightforward but do get the hardwire so it’s all hassle free and wires dangling around.

Superb value for money and a great quality camera.
Probably one of, if not the best bang for buck value dashcam's on the market, and that's before accounting for sale prices. Comes with a complete kit for sitting the front and rear camera and tools to help hide cables. I've already bought multiple not just for myself but for family as well. The main camera has a great 4k resolution and some of the best night vision capability I've seen. Visual quality is beaten only by camera's and brands that are substantially more expensive, and usually only come in a single camera kit. Not to mention they will not have an included SD card, let a lone a 128gb one. The rear camera is only 1080p, and does have a tendency to be blinded by bright lights. Especially modern LED and laser headlights. But I've yet to find any camera with a lens that could truly beat those. Comes with analogue functionality, as well as an optional App that turned out to be reasonably good and much better than expected. The box will usually say it has an 18month warranty, however the Red Tiger website indicates that it is infact 24 month. Which can also be another factor to include.

Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam: main camera quality is brilliant
Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam: A Comprehensive Review for Road Safety and Peace of Mind As someone who values both cutting-edge technology and road safety, I'm excited to share my in-depth review of the Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam. Having thoroughly tested this device, I can confidently say it's a strong contender for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's recording capabilities. Unboxing and First Impressions The Red Tiger F7NP arrives in a compact package, immediately impressing with its sleek design. The unboxing experience reveals not only the main 4K dashcam but also a secondary rear camera, a 32GB microSD card (a thoughtful inclusion!), and a range of essential accessories like the power adapter, cable supports, and even an installation tool. The attention to detail in the packaging and included components is commendable. Key Features & Setup This dashcam is packed with features designed to enhance your driving experience and provide crucial evidence if needed. The standout features include: * Stunning 4K Resolution (Front Camera): The clarity of the front camera's 4K footage is exceptional, capturing sharp details that are vital for identifying license plates and other critical information. * Full HD 1080p (Rear Camera): While the rear camera records at 1080p, it still provides clear and reliable footage of what's happening behind your vehicle. * Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS: These features are incredibly convenient. Wi-Fi allows for easy access to your recordings via a smartphone app, while GPS accurately logs your speed and location, adding an extra layer of data to your videos. * Loop Recording & G-Sensor: Standard but essential features, ensuring continuous recording and automatically saving footage during collisions. Initial setup is straightforward. The menu is intuitive, allowing you to quickly select language, time zone, and customize settings like video resolution, audio recording, and G-sensor sensitivity. Installation – A Breeze with the Dongar Adapter One of the highlights of my installation was using the optional Dongar adapter that I bought separately. This ingenious accessory allows the dashcam to draw power directly from your car's rearview mirror, eliminating the need for a long, visible cable running to the 12V connector. This seamlessly integrates into the car's existing wiring, resulting in a much cleaner and more professional-looking installation. Performance: Video and Audio Quality The true test of any dashcam is its recording quality, and the Red Tiger F7NP truly shines here. * Video Quality: I was particularly impressed with the front camera's 4K clarity in various lighting conditions. Daytime footage is crisp and vibrant, and even in challenging morning and nighttime scenarios, the camera maintains excellent detail. The dual-camera view is a fantastic feature, allowing you to see both front and rear perspectives simultaneously. While the rear camera's 1080p resolution is good, it's important to ensure optimal placement to avoid any obstructions, as I initially experienced a minor shadow due to placement. * Audio Quality: The dashcam also captures clear audio, which can be crucial in documenting incidents. Conclusion The Red Tiger F7NP 4K Dashcam is an excellent investment for anyone seeking a reliable, feature-rich, and high-performing dashcam. Its 4K front camera, comprehensive features, and user-friendly design make it a standout product in its category. The optional Dongar adapter is a game-changer for a clean installation, and the overall video and audio quality provide peace of mind on the road. I highly recommend this dashcam for its quality and value.

High quality and good value for money.
The kit was delivered in a high quality box with everything needed to plug in and work with minimal set up. The instructions are simple to follow but I think most people would find the settings quite easy to follow simply by plugging it in and having a play with the buttons. Having been a user of dashcams for the last 15 years, I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality & feel of the unit. The gps module is part of the mounting bracket which sticks easily to the screen and in turn, the camera is held in place on the slide-on bracket by a strong magnet. Although delivered with a 32gb card, I fitted a good quality 256gb memory card to give me plenty of storage capacity at the highest quality camera settings. The app was easy enough to download and use on the Android platform and the desktop app on windows works without issue and provide all relevant details. I have yet to try the rear view camera which is not so easy to fit in my 4x4 pickup which also has a rear canopy - The window of which I can never really see through due to the dust & muck attracted to the rear window! Luckily my truck driving experience has taught me to rely on my wing mirrors rather the rear view. I am considering setting this camera up as an 'in cab' monitor. The sound quality of the recordings is good - I just pray that in the event that I have an incident that requires me to produce the footage, I have some decent music playing and that I'm not, god forbid, singing! The night vision seems good. I am mostly in rural areas but the first trip for me included rural & dark main roads, plus lit motorway and towns so a good mixture and appears good throughout. All in all, I am extremely pleased with the unit and having given it a good test to prove the capability and quality, I will now fit the hard wire kit. One of the main reasons I chose this unit was the Super capacitor rather than a battery which from personal experience have found do not like potential wide range of temperatures in cars. I may add to my review once I have experience of the summer temperatures. Compared to other cameras & kit on the market, I would recommend that you add this to your final list for serious consideration.

Looks good on paper, frustrating in real use
I’ve had multiple serious issues with this REDTIGER dash cam, and unfortunately I can’t recommend it. The camera powers on and shows “CAM GOOD”, but no live image is displayed at all. The screen UI loads normally, but there is no video feed. Rear camera disconnected, SD card formatted, reset done — still no image. This points to a hardware/sensor failure, which seems to be a known issue. The mobile app experience is also very poor: • You must connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi, which only works when the car and camera are powered on • If the car is off, you have zero access to recordings • There is no cloud access unless the camera is on and connected • Downloads are extremely slow, even for short clips • Large files take a very long time to transfer, making it impractical in real situations This defeats the purpose of a dash cam when you need quick access after an incident. Parking mode is advertised, but without reliable access to footage, it loses its value. Combined with the hardware reliability issues, this camera feels unpolished and unreliable. Overall, it worked for around 1.5 years. Good image quality but disappointed with life it has.

An excellent all-around, budget-friendly do-it-all dash cam.
Why did you choose this product over others?: Premium quality at affordable prices. This review is not sponsored; it is a genuine assessment after using the product for about six months, comparing it to a well-known dash cam brand that includes 'base' in its name. Overall Build Quality: 10/10 Front Camera Quality: 10/10 Rear Camera Quality: 9/10 Accessories: 8/10 Software: 8/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Build Quality - I cannot find any faults with the build quality; the buttons feel good, the mounting gear is sturdy, and the cabling is thick, double sided tape is strong too. Front Camera Quality - Compared to others, this camera is undoubtedly superior in quality both during the day and at night. There is some glare during peak sunlight and at night, which is completely eliminated when using the CPL filter (highly recommended). Rear Camera Quality - Again, I cannot fault the build or quality of the camera itself; the image is sharp during the day and sufficiently clear at night. One point has been deducted due to its bulkiness, but for the price, I doubt you will find a better option. Accessories - It comes with additional static stickers, mounting stickers, and a very long rear camera cable (long enough for my 7-seater with plenty to spare). The trim tool is a nice touch, and the mount is a strong click mount. If it included a hardwire kit, it would easily score 10/10 again. Software - I believe all manufacturers tend to overlook the software aspect. Overall, the software is on par with other reputable brands, but it could use some fine-tuning to enhance user-friendliness. In six months of use (through a cold UK winter and, thankfully, a warm summer), I have not experienced any lag, cutouts, or overheating. This is the second dash cam I have bought for my second vehicle, as the first one has been completely flawless and, in my opinion, superior to other well-known brands. Customer Service - Any inquiries I have made have always been answered within 24-48 hours, providing complete peace of mind as a buyer, knowing there is someone available to resolve any issues that may arise.

Great Camera and Great customer service
I usually do not leave review for products but this one is a must for me as I am very happy with the purchase I installed the camera using a video and catalogue to the fuse box and ran the cables very easily. I then turned it on and read the catalog to learn the camera , it is very easy to learn and to operate. The camera lens is very wide and cover almost both side of the road and also the night vision is great like visualising in natural daylight even in semi or dark roads it is possible to read front car plate and visualise the road for safety. I realised when I get very close to the front car , the camera read the car plate number with a sufficient distance and cover the front car nicely and entirely . I ran two cables , the other one is for charger and when attaching this it is possible to get WIFI connected and see the current or previous footage on the app, when disconnecting this cable and adding the other cable which is connected to fuse box this function will not work instead it makes the camera in another mode which possible to take snap shot and log the current video, in this case the footage still get into the app and nothing is lost. I have not used other features yet and I will update if I find more about this camera. I still have not attached the back camera but installation will not be difficult so possibly come back and update it in here my findings. Update,, I added the rear camera , the cable is long enough for a seven seater car. I could attach the camera to rear window topside most towards left side of the window . It is almost 5 to 10 cm short for this car but has nothing to do with wide angle lens that cover almost all width of the road and the crystal clear of the lens is almost 98% of the quality of front camera .Update 11/06/2023 Once one of you asked me does this camera record speed on the video , I should say YES and sorry for not being helpful on that occasion but this camera shows speed on the video and also on the setting the speed could be turned ON or OFF
