My grand LOVES this thing. At 3=5, she really handles the function and grabs all kinds of toys in the tub. She lost interest in the fish a couple weeks in. Months in, it still works as designed. Paint has worn off part of the eyes.I cracked open the mouth and looked inside today. HOLY CRAP! it's scary gross. I know many toys do this when water sits inside, but I didn't think it would be a problem in this shark bc it's more open than other toys. Now-we do have a hard water x soap scum issue. All her toys get soap scum after a few days in the tub.Bleach soak is needed regularly. Note, it looks fine from the outside. Check yours.

Bought this for my 3 year old to play with at the pool or in the bath and he LOVES it. It’s very cute, has held up to several months of toddler abuse, and works well. The only thing that worries me is that I can’t seem to get ALL of the water out when I put it away - so it might get moldy kind of fast.Maybe it drains more after we put it in the bath basket, but it would be nice if I didn’t hear water stuck in the handle. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars.

My son like the toy and plays with it in the bath. I think the quality is pretty good too.

Within the first week the toys mouth stopped opening wide and only opened a tiny bit then the next week it stopped opening all together. It’s fallen apart since then. I wouldn’t waste your money on this. My daughter absolutely loved it the first couple of times when it ACTUALLY worked. We had to throw it away because she was upset it wouldn’t open.
