These are excellent quality and packaged really well for mailing.

I'm so impressed with this kit. The quality is exceptional! Not all pickle pipes are created equal as you will see in the pic. The far left navy blue pickle pipe is for a wide mouth jar which I received as a Christmas gift. It was made by a different company using poor quality silicone and the pipe is molded at an angle not vertical like the other two that came with this particular kit. The packaging is superb. Everything is protected with foam and the pipes are contained within a smaller container in the box which makes for great storage when not in use. I thought the pickle packer would be a bonus tool but soon realized how much easier/faster it was to pack the veggies than using random household utensils and now I consider it a must have when fermenting. The weights are easy to place/retrieve with their molded finger grips. Highly recommend this product as all aspects of it from packing to use are exceptional!

I am within my first batch of sauerkraut so I can’t report on the outcome just yet but the kit is very high quality. The recipes included are a real bonus.

I bought this set because it was the same price or cheaper than buying all the individual parts. I really just wanted the masher but I also knew I would eventually want all the other parts as well. I originally was not going to buy these because of the nipple part. I’ve read that over time it can become weak and not work as well for fermentation which was my original plan. I now use them for a variety of different applications and am very happy I bought them and they have the nipple. I use homemade face cleaner. The nipple allows me to squeeze out the amount I want without wasting any. I make a homemade hair wash that’s all liquid. The nipple works perfectly to squeeze it out on my hair in the shower while not allowing extra water into the container and contaminating it. I don’t know how they work for fermentation but I suspect they would be perfect. The glass weights fit inside a regular mouth mason jar nicely. They are easy to put in and take out. The masher is really ergonomical for me to hold. It feels comfortable and sturdy. The little book it comes with is nice. I haven’t tried anything yet but the recipes look easy to use and directions easy to follow. It’s not jam packed with information but it certainly has a little bit of a wide enough variety that everyone should be able to find something to try to get their feet wet with fermentation. All in all really happy with the purchase. It came Well packaged and looked very professional! Would buy again and recommend to others.
