Worked excellently for my 2-day 100 mile bike ride.
I came back to give this product 5 stars. These shorts protected my sit-bones even though I sit in a forward-leaning, road bike-style position when I ride. I just completed a 2-day, 8.5 hour long, 100 mile bike ride yesterday and had no saddle soreness. These shorts WORK. It turns out that the trick for me was to pull the waistband of these shorts up as high as I could without hurting myself. Once I did that, I didn't need to readjust or anything along the ride. My sitbones were fine the night I finished the 100 miles, and today they feel like I was never on a bike to begin with. My original review, below: I have a lean, athletic build, and I wear a 32-33 waist in jeans. The large was too big, so I returned it for a medium which fit much better, but still made me feel like I was wearing a diaper. I attribute the diaper feeling to the bulky cushioning in the shorts. I hear that's how a lot of padded shorts feel, so I didn't take off any stars for that. Just thought you should be warned. The shorts have ample cushion for your butt, that's for sure. And If you ride sitting in a fairly vertical or even reclined position, then I have no doubt that these cushions will greatly improve your comfort on long rides because the padding is situated to protect the parts of your "sit bones" that will contact the bike saddle when riding in that vertical or reclined position. But I ride in a road bike-like setup, with my seat high, and my torso leaning forward. The part of my body that makes contact with my bike saddle are the extreme anterior of my "sit bones." These shorts do not have cushion in that area to pad against that part of my sit bones that are in contact most while leaning forward in that racing position. This is because the cushions in these shorts are placed in the bottom of the shorts like a ladies menstrual pad (Not trying to be gross, but that's exactly how the pads are situated and shaped in the shorts) and the cushions get narrow between your legs - too narrow to protect my sitbones when I am biking in my racing position. Overall: they seem to be very acceptable for bike seat setups that keep the rider in a more vertical or reclined position, not for forward-leaning setups.

Quality/Material is great for the price, but If you have a irregular body shape you may be out of luck =(
Even though I'm returning this item, I found the quality/material to be good, so it deserves the stars. However, you may find that this may not fit you any sizes. I don't blame the mfg...i blame my genetics for my body shape lol. I'm 6'0 @ 175-179 lbs (water weight haha) I got the large for a waist size of 33, and it fits PERFECTLY, but it was too tight on my thighs. The waist was pretty comfortable (i.e if it had pockets and I put things in there it would probably slowly fall). If I go a size up it will be too large for my waist, but it will will fit my thigh. I thought large would fit, since they're fitted for asian type bodies, like Uniqlo clothes (which fits me fine at slim). May need to find something in person. I was hope this would fit me =(.

Baleaf vs. Ohuhu vs. Xcellent Global
It was difficult for me to tell which was “best” based on the descriptions and reviews so I decided to order one each of the Ohuhu, Xcellent Global and Baleaf to decide for myself. Overall, all three do a nice job of providing padding where needed, help keep me dry (and thus prevent chafing) “down there,” dry quickly, are comfortable, and appear to be wearing well. After I have ridden, and then gotten off the bike, none of them have that “full diaper” feel when I walk around. None of them have a significant “con” though there are some differences which might sway your decision as a “pro.” Do note that the sizing varies among the three… I am 5’8” with a 41” waist and 39” hips. Based on comments, I ordered the XXL size for Xcellent and Baleaf and the XL for Ohuhu. Waist size (no stretch, full stretch): Baleaf (XXL) 32” (50” full stretch); Ohuhu (XL) and Xcellent (XXL) 28” (48” full stretch). Inseam – 2” Ohuhu, 3” Baleaf, 4” Xcellent The pad is very similar on the Ohuhu and Baleaf. Slightly different on the Xcellent, but all three are comparable and adequate. Differences: Ohuhu has a more open weave in the fabric – might offer slightly better cooling but haven’t had any heat issues with the other pairs. Baleaf – grippy elastic at bottom of legs – may help keep the legs from creeping up, though haven’t found it to be a problem on the other two pairs.

Recommend with reservations
They are ok. They do ride up in the legs and are a bit short. They comfortable and have a ok pad thickness. Recommend with reservations, best for short trips and light riding.

Great for the price, fits and works well.
I bought these as an alternative for shorter rides. So far, they work well, I've used them on a 50 mile ride with no issue (although the ride was not non stop.). FIRST IMPRESSION: They fit well, up on your waist. It was at first uncomfortable, but in a few rides they felt much more better. They need some time to "break in". The padding is blue, and it has enough in the right spots, and on my first ride, I didn't feel any pain in the padding area. The fabric is sleek and is a better product than other cycling shorts. You can tell the quality by the fact it isn't transparent. FUNCTION: The cycling underwear works well. Compared to other competitors, this is better as it has silicone lined leg bands and use a chamois pad instead of a cheap gel pad. Furthermore, it uses a much higher quality fabric. This is much better than the similar Xcellent cycling underwear. It also wicks well, which is why it is better than normal underwear for cycling. Also, please note that this is meant to be worn underneath shorts or pants. This is good for the price, for all cyclists. It mimics the padding and fabric of higher quality cycling shorts. I would even use these for touring as these go under one's clothing.

Great value. Highly recommend.
Decided to get back into bike riding to change up my running routine especially in the summer heat of Florida. I found that the cooling breeze of riding 12 to 15 mph allowed me to exercise longer without the feeling of imminent heat stroke. Like most riders, I struggled with seat discomfort and the tingly numbness associated with a standard seat. I decided to purchase a Hobson Easy Seat 2 which greatly reduced sit bone pain and helped extend my riding time well past on hour. I debated whether or not padded biking undergarments would help with a split seat, but for such a low price, I decided to try a pair of these. Based on other reviews, I bought a size larger than what I normally wear, and they fit great. I am 6'3",250 lbs and wear an XL, so I bought these in size XXL. I have tree trunks for legs, so the additional space in the larger size was needed in the thighs. When you first put them on, the extra padding in the crotch area feels very weird and I would not recommend walking around in them. However, once you get on the bike and get situated in a good position, these shorts allow you to go a very long time without experiencing that uncomfortable sit bone pain. I would highly recommend these to anyone who likes to ride their bike but finds themselves cutting their time short because of numbness. I have washed these twice now and they seem to be holding up well. I plan on purchasing more of these in the future.

Saved my ass....
Where to start. I'll preface to say I'm new to cycling. I recently purchased a road bike and very motivated to start my cycling fitness routine. My first reality check was the discomfort to my backside. Even in cycling shorts, my ass gave out long before my legs did. I found a gel seat cover in the garage from one of my wife's old bike and put it on the seat for some extra padding. This only seemed to make things worse and I could barely walk after a 9 mile ride. My butt felt like it had been beaten and bruised. I started looking at $100+ seats to get away from this pain and stumbled across this cycling "underwear" and decided I'd give it a shot. It was a good price so low risk right? Most of the reviews read that they ran small. I'm a 36 waist and, reading the reviews, that tracked to an XL. I ordered two pairs of the XLs which I received today. I tried them on right away, my derrier still sore from the weekend beating it took. First impression, they fit loosely. Much looser than the compression cycling shorts I had become accustomed to. If you've ever held up a pair of "granny panties" that's what they looked and felt like other than the thick padding. They fit loose and made me question my decision to go with the XL. In hindsight, I should have just gone with an XL and an L and see where I landed. Again, these are billed as "cycling underwear" so I need some shorts to go over them. They were loose fitting and I was missing the compression fit of cycling shorts. Since I was still sore, I said "what the hell" and put the cycling shorts on over the "cycling underwear" - double padding. It didn't feel overly bulky so I decided to go with it. I got rid of the gel seat and back to the stock seat that came with my Cannondale. It was a good ride and I exceeded my max on distance at 13.3 miles. Tired but not overly sore in the butt like I was on my last ride. I can work with this and I'm no longer in a rush to spend every nickel I can muster on a high end bike seat that may or may not make a difference. Give this a try and I hope you have as good a luck as I did with these padded "granny panties".

Good pants - Sizing seems right
Delivery - These pants arrived quickly - 3cays on Amazon Prime. Function - They do the job. I ride for maybe 1 hour a day and the padding is sufficient for that. I wash them in the washing machine as per instructions and line dry. They hold up to the machine and they dry quickly. Sizing - I am a 32 waist with typical thighs. I purchased Large due to the comments that the pants run small. The waist and the legs fit fine but the crotch are is a little roomy and sometimes it feels like distance between my cheeks and the pad is too much. The pant legs do not ride up my thighs. So I am not sure if a Medium would have still fit comfortably at the waist and thighs and would have held my junk in place better without squashing. I will likely purchase a Medium for comparison and will update this review at that time. Bottom Line - Buy them. Get them one size larger if you have any doubts. Probably better to have extra room than be too small.
