Expensive, damaging and not effective
I have been using this for 3 weeks and following instructions. I live in Dubai so the sun here is not a problem but the effect of this thing is just making my hair brassy despite using blue shampoo. It doesn’t really lighten it, it just gives it these brassy reflexes that are not nice. I normally have a warm chestnut medium brown hair that gets lighter in the sun but not brassy, this is just making it copper brown which is not at all the effect I wanted and not at all what the images suggest. I was looking for more of a sun kissed effect and this is barely doing anything other than changing the general color tone. Furthermore it dries it out and makes it very knotty and sticky and the smell is not pleasant. I really wanted to like this but I think hydrogen peroxide combined with a toner is a cheaper and more efficient alternative to this.

Works well for dark blonde-light brown hair, cute and subtle
I have dark blonde-light brown hair so I was nervous about which one to get because I didn’t want my hair to be orange. I got the Light Hair one and although it takes a while to see much of a difference it didn’t turn my hair orange. I loved the subtleness of the highlights and how it build with more uses. I didn’t want harsh highlights, just for my hair to be a bit lighter, like natural sun highlights, and this accomplished that for me.

Does not work *DAMAGES HAIR*
I don’t usually take time to write negative reviews. Felt I had to as I don’t want in this economy anyone wasting their money. At first I was intrigued because it’s a natural product. I’m a brunette that has been using the Go Blonder John Frieda spray for years to give myself a natural looking ombré effect on my ends. It’s always worked but thought maybe this product would be healthier. For 40 dollars and a TINY bottle, boy was I disappointed. Plus I have breakage now Save your money, go for the products that are a fraction of the cost and actually work. The smell too…bothered me…”natural” yes smelled very chemically and lingered until I washed again. Regretful purchase for sure.

Didn’t do much
I’m dark blonde but unfortunately the light version was not available (and still not is). Customer service from suntouched recommended that I could take the dark version and it would do the same just more quickly. I brought it with me on vacation and applied it every day for 6 days after going out from the ocean on wet hair and let it dry under the sun. It didn’t do much and it’s barely noticeable. The only thing it did was to get my hair a little more reddish, so I suspect that this is due to the dark version instead on taking the lighter one. I’m disappointed.

Great for ginger hair
I was cautious about using a lightening product since I’ve usually stuck to lemon juice and sun, but this has worked wonderfully to get subtle pseudo-baby highlights. I have a medium toned ginger hair that’s been feeling dull after getting an in person office job, and this has really helped brighten up my hair. I noticed a difference after the first use but it’s very subtle in the perfect way. One thing is I don’t know how different it is from people that use hydrogen peroxide and water at home to lighten their hair. I accidentally got some in a cut on my finger and it felt and looked just like a low percentage hydrogen peroxide. It smells nice and is marginally drying as lightening efforts typically go, so I plan to go in with a deep conditioner gloss once at my desired lightness.
