You get one microphone with this set or you can buy two on offer which I did and they r fantastic

Q: Will this system allow the music volume to be lowered when you speak

Not automatically, have to turn down manually.

Q: Is there a echo function

I've not used it to find out . I going use it for playing music n events . Sound is good. I do know singers use this set up also.. Bluetooth is good on it n can run music of your phone. Also comes with remote control

These speakers aren't 1000 W RMS they are 200- 250w RMS each. Wattage is peak power only.
