- New Toshiba Universal Remote Control for All Toshiba Brand TV, Smart TV - 1 Year Warranty(TS-13+AL)

Worked on my old Toshiba TV perfectly once batteries installed. I like the smaller size and good layout. Very light and easy to use.

I bought a Toshiba Fire TV. (I recommend you don't) and the remote that comes with it is as cheaply made as the TV is. The remote eventually started coming apart at the seams. I searched for a replacement and found only one and it was close to $40! So, I searched for a universal TOSHIBA remote and this gem popped up. It doesn't have the voice commands like the fire remote, which is fine, and it worked straight out of the package!! Absolutely NO SET UP. I LOVE it so far. It's better made than the original remote, and does everything, except voice commands, the original did. If you got stuck with the Toshiba Fire TV and cheap remote that comes with it, I highly recommend this one. Trust me, you'll need it eventually. And at almost $30 cheaper than the one and only other replacement remote Amazon sells, you can't go wrong.

It works just fine. However, the USER INSTRUCTIONS sent with it were so sparse as to be basically useless. I am unable to find any comprehensive instructions applicable to this universal remote!! Can someone help with this??!

I was skeptical, but pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. the buttons will take a few minutes to get used to, but you can do almost everything works better than the fire remote. you cannot "quick access" streaming, but you can easily go to the main menu and select the streaming you want. I am very happy with the number pad to more easily go to a channel I want. I figured I would try it on our other fire tv in the kitchen and it works for both without changes in setup. I will be ordering another one for the kitchen to replace the working fire remote I currently have. can't beat it for the price.

I “inherited” mom’s flat screen tv after she passed away. I’d purchased it for her about six years ago. I have no idea where the paperwork or remote control are so not only am I missing the remote, I didn’t know which Toshiba model I had. All I did was take this remote out of the package, inserted the included batteries, pointed it at the TV and pushed the power button and the tv turned on. The volume buttons work too. I’m using a Fire Stick on this tv so those are the only buttons I care about. It does exactly what it said it would do and fulfills exactly what I need. Well worth the purchase price.

I bought this remote for a cheap TV I got that didn't come with a remote, seeing reviews for ease of use and lack of programming. It worked fantastically on the TV!... and on the remote-activated lights in my room. My soul nearly left my body when the lights went into strobe mode because I pressed "7." No programming required, good for a laugh if you have multiple remote-operated devices in the same area.

I bought 2 of these remotes in the past year . I Just got the second one end of June and now it’s not working . Idk what to do it was working then it stopped again . The red light comes on when press remote power button but it’s not connected to my tv .

UPDATE Sept 2019: It's been a year since I purchased this. The remote stopped working slowly but surely after about 5 or 6 months! I purchased another brand and had a similar result. Now Im going to purchase this one again as long as the price hasn't gone up because the setup was so easy. It sucks it doesn't last longer but this will have to do if I can't get the original remote. __________________________________ Original: I'll start with the good points, there's mostly good points. 1. It works! It truly is universal! I didn't have to program it, I'm so shocked! The instructions say that most televisions (98%) should work automatically without needing to be programmed but, if you do need too, programming instructions seems fairly simple. 2. The remote control looks nothing like my 2010 40in LCD and/or LED Toshiba television remote but the universal remote has a button that operates all the functions including the half mute option. 3. The only problem I have is the edges of the Universal remote are not rounded like the original remote is. The universal remotes edges are borderline "Sharp", but don't worry you won't get cut. 4. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the ease of use and price and would recommend to anyone in the market for a new Toshiba remote control to try this one first before the more expensive ones.

Works very well. Volume works. Works for my toshiba and firestick.

Can’t distinguish buttons at night. They all feel the same

Dog ate my remote and although it works well you can't program the remote button that would have been Netflix or other preprogrammed buttons 3 out of 5
