The instructions are clear and simple, it pulls out a huge amount of hair and grime, yes it will be hairy and black with grime, its gross and yeti made me sp happy to clear out that drain so easily and quickly, its perfect for homeowners and renters as well. We don't like using the chemical drain clearing products which are extremely dangerous, stick badly and have to be used too often because they really don't clear everything out. This products is fast, virtually stand, doesn't stink, really pulls the hair out and costs less than use, plus you donlt risk damaging your pipes with caustic chemicals, this product is highly recommended. You simply snap the wand into the handle. Then insert in the drain a little bit, and turn the handle Do not just shove it all the way, you could push the clog deeper, simply insert and turn the handle until you feel the resistance stop and then pull it out and the clump of hair along with all the black goop just pulls right out (if you get nothing then insert a little bit deeper and repeat, its obvious and you will understand how to do it instantly), then pull the collar and release the shaft into the garbage can (it will be grimy), so it fits super easy to use, just keep the handle for future use. Its an excellent product that can save a fortune in plumbers bills and avoids the dangerous use of caustic chemicals, so its highly recommended.

Worked when liquids failed! Tub had 2" of water and endless liquid clog products, baking soda and white vinegar did not work. This thing-poked it just 6" down and it pulled out a clog. Drain fine now. Very easy to use.

Here I am fussing with liquid drain cleaners for decades and getting mediocre results that pop up again in six months, when I could have been weaseling my way out of the problem for a fraction of the cost and time. Where to start? Easy to use, it's intuitive but the instructions are there. Each wand is reusable, so I cleaned the main bathroom sink drain first, wiping away hair and muck after each pass until nothing really came out of the drain. Done. It's sucking in water now like it's been drifting in the desert for half a decade. Amazing. I then decide to push the same wand to see what it can do, so I go to the main shower where me and my wife's hair cause regular clogging. A few passes and done! Don't get me wrong, it's gross, but I just pulled at the hair on the wand with wads of TP and it continued to work just fine. After the major issues were resolved I was going to toss the wand but decided to give it another go on the downstairs bathroom just to get any muck residing down there, and I got a third drain clean. Then I tossed the wand because it looked pretty spent and I have a few more in reserve for the future. Not sure if I'll ever be paying up for a liquid plumber when I have this thing around. AMAZING. Highly recommended for hair clogs.

Love this little guy! He actually did unclog my drain. I was surprised at how effective it was compared to liquid options. With the liquid options, the problem would re-appear a day or two later. Drain Weasel seems to address the problem right away. Some parts of the clog were not removed, but I could hear them washing away through the pipes. The water flow even sounds better. Simple, great product, and made in the USA!

This product worked perfectly. I have used the different design that features a long flat piece of plastic with sawtooth sides; this design is so much simpler and works much better. I was able to quickly start removing a dense hair clog on a tub drain. As I removed material, I was then able to probe deeper into the drain and remove more material. I expect some people will discard the wand (easily attached and detached) since the kit comes with extras. I did not but it took a bit of effort with scissors to clean the head. Great product.

Two daughters, one with incredibly thick curly hair. The bathroom drain was not doing its best. I debated drain o or this and so glad I went with this product. Other snakes didn’t fit in the tub drain never got anything out. Literally two second assembly a little twirl of the handle and a hair nest the size of my arm pulled out of the drain. Good as new draining perfectly. Without a doubt buy this.

Initially, I was suspicious of utility of any such product as condition was my washroom sink was not good at all. And my next step would be to take professional help. But still I thought of giving it a try after reading the reviews. Well, I could only say that it is a fantastic product. It took me only 5 min to clear the drain, without any hassle and with utmost ease. This for sure will be my go to option if such situation arises again. My only suggestion to the seller is to make a little change to it so that sleeve tightly fits into the wand. It sometimes comes off while rotating the handle. Other than that, I faced no major issues.

Have to agree with the reviews it’s expensive for long bit of plastic with Velcro on the end.. BUT on the other hand i didn't wanna have to call a plumber and the plunger wasn’t doing the job. New dog owner, been bathing my massive dog for about 6 months, and thought we was catching most of the hair but no we definitely wasn’t. Product was super easy to use and got out a rat sized ball of hair. The smell was awful but got so much crap out. Strong bleach for the smell but water is running down perfectly. I would definitely recommend as a try to do it yourself.

One hook was pretty much I needed to clean out the filth in my bathroom sink! At first I did not expect to have much hair and filth clogged in the sink, so I pushed the hook all the way down till it could not go further, rotated the handle a few times and suddenly I felt the tension as I tried to pull up the snake. I thought the hook was not strong enough and worried that it could break. But as soon as I put more force pulling up, the amount of hair captured was beyond astonishing! Used another two hooks to make sure that the drain was clean enough. Overall, a happy purchase! Minimal storage space required!
