I use this as a phone holder for my drum rack and it's PERFECT. It's solid as a proverbial rock! You can basically position it however you like within the sphere of its reach, tighten it in one place and it all locks together. I stuck a standard sprung mobile phone mount with a standard-sized camera thread on it and my phone is now always in the perfect spot when I'm practicing or doing a livestream. Great value for what it is because it's better designed than anything else I've seen in the market.
