Good pen, with a very fine line
This is a pretty good pen and I really liked the blue-black ink. However, the 0.38 is VERY fine, too fine for me. If you need an ultra fine line, for whatever reason, this is the way to go.

Already ran out of in from so much writing!
Obsessed with these pens. I love a good a good thin pen and looking for a color that I not the super bright blue. This was amazing. Comfortable to hold, smooth writing.

I love these pens
I can't remember when I first came across Uni-Ball Signo pens from Japan, but I absolutely LOVE them. Of all the hundreds of pens I have (yes, I have a problem - they're my addiction), I prefer the ones with micro points and these pens have some of the best. They write very smoothly without a skip or leaving a glop of ink like some cheap rollerball points can do. Even if you tend to have very small, cramped handwriting, these pens are so fine that what you write is still easy to read. Ink dries quickly so there are no smears, and it doesn't seep through to the other side of the paper. This blue-black ink is equivalent to a dark navy, and this pen also comes in other lovely colors that are a nice change from the usual bright red, blue, or black. Being such fine point, these pens aren't the best for use on multiple part carbon(less) forms as if you press hard to make sure the imprint goes all the way through, you can tear the top sheet of paper with the minute-point of the pen.

Very long.
I love the way these write and the color of the ink. But boy are these long. At 6" they can be difficult to carry in a pocket.

Best pens
I love these pens! I heard they are not in production anymore and I'm quite sad, bc it has a nice navy color and easy glide on page.

label thats impossible to remove
The pen writes nicely, but a couple of major annoyances: each pen has a label on the cap which is impossible to remove cleanly; and the body of the pen craps out long before the ink is exhausted. I have a drawer of half-used pens that have fallen apart. The cap does not stay on or the ink cartridge falls out of the body making it useless to put in your pocket.

Always smooth and rich.
My favorite pens.

The Real Deal. The Best Pens
I think I first used these Uni-Ball Signo Blue Black 0.5mm pens back when I studied abroad in Hong Kong in 2004. They were truly the best pens I'd ever had the pleasure of using for daily use, taking notes in-and-outside of classes. I tried to stock up at that time but it's been over fifteen years, and I was thrilled to discover, order and receive these pens today via Amazon. These seem like exactly the same item that I used so many years ago. It's pretty awesome. I love the blue black color. These pens aren't as stylish-looking as some of the other Signo models, particularly the mx (?) or micro point gel pens, but they still look good and come with the bar code with Japanese writing to let you know these are authentic, Made-in-Japan, pens. I'm going to be ordering more Uni-ball Gel Pens. Can't beat the convenience of online ordering from Amazon for Japanese stationary with quick-turnaround shipping!
