Meito Puku Puku Tai (Chocolate Wafer Cookie)
From what I gather, this is not Tayaki. It's just inspired by it and called Puku Puku Tai. It's a chocolate filled wafer cookie. There's nothing pancake about it. It has a wafer shell with a crispy chocolate inside. If you've ever had fancy chocolate filled wafer rolls, that's what it tastes like. Though it is softer, like a crisp wafer all the way through (including the chocolate, though that's a bit denser). As far as flavor it's great! :) It's 0.58 oz, 90 calories (10g of sugar) and I can pronounce all the ingredients. I'd say it's really good if you need a chocolate fix and it doesn't fill you up. Little pricey though, so I don't think I'd buy this regularly, maybe as an interesting treat for special occasions. Note: Ignore the California Prop 65 warning, it's useless. Coffee would have the same warning if all the coffee places hadn't gotten legislators to exempt it. Vendor: K&t Sunshine - Nothing broke. :) Came in a small USPS flat rate box (both individual wrapped), the box was in a Christmas themed bag (it's August lol).

Smashed to bits
Both showed up completely smashed up and crushed. At $6 each for a tiny piece of food where the point of it is the novelty of the shape, that's hardly acceptable.

Crushed
Came completely crushed, still decided to try it, pretty good, just disappointed with how it looked.

Great price for a great product which my kids loved. I will buy again for them.
I had to give a review on this. My two older children love Japanese food. This didn't disappoint them. It arrived fast with packaging well protected. When it was opened the product was fresh and smelled enticing. They said the taste was great and wasn't stale. Great price for a great product which my kids loved. I will buy again for them.

Chocolate fish
They taste really good, fairly priced, just tend to break easily

Delicious!
One thing I love most about this snack was how it didn't taste too decadent yet it will still so flavorful. The chocolate it light but delicious! I plan to order more in the future!

Nothing like real Taiyaki
This is nothing like the Taiyaki I bought in Japan. The chocolate filling is much lighter and drier. Worse, instead of a nice dense batter, the covering is as thin and tasteless as those old cake cones for ice cream. And one of the 2 I ordered came completely crumbled up in little pieces.

They came completely crumbled and broken
They were delicious atop my icecream. Sadly, that's how they came; Crumbled. Like my hopes and dreams. They were not strong enough to survive transit, and came crumbled and broken all over the little tray. It's like someone punched the package repeatedly before sitting on them.
