Thank you for your inquiry on our ARC-1230R Multicooker. All our units currently run on 120 volts. We do not at this time have any dual voltage units that would work on 220/240V. Question 3

Do the top have a hole so the steam can escape as the rice cooks or is it like a pressure cooker and the steam collects inside causing soggy spots?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. On the top of the unit is a steam vent that will allow steam to escape as the rice cooks. We do recommend once the rice has completed cooking to periodically stir the rice as condensation will drip back into rice if lid is not opened. Question 4

Condensation is coming out the sides and not going into the cup. Are we missing something?

Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. The units condensation that builds on the inside of the lid drips into the condensation collector once you open the lid. If the unit is over boiling, steam or condensation may come out through the sides of the lid.
