Good quality toaster
Looks good, but you have to be careful with the heat settings as it does have a tendency to burn the toast I do wish it had a bun warmer feature Toaster is well built and doesn’t feel cheap and nasty

Stylish, classy and wonderfully functional, worth buying
I seldom write reviews, positive ones especially to be honest. I hope what I am going to say will stand in a few months time after writing this but I an normally dubious about buying brands of goods I have never heard of as with this one, but I looked right through many many pages of kettle and toaster sets on Amazon here and this is the only kettle and toaster that i liked the design and functionality of. Elegant and yet functional. Not horrid plastic items either, but classy stainless steel and glass which is in my opinion healthier and safer. The toaster I set on number 5 as I like my toast well done and I pressed the cancel button before the toasting cycle completed and it was perfect, beautiful tasting toast with best butter on and some Irish Whisky marmalade wow delicious! I over filled the kettle, it is a habit of mine but the kettle (same make and sold off this pages under the heading "Aigostar products customers bought together" began boiling fiercly and I didn't think it would auto click off, I waited and then the lid flipped wide open and splashes of boiling water flew out onto my arm. I stopped the kettle using the button on the handle and the next time i filled the kettle I filled it to its maxium marker on the side of it and this time the lid didn't flip open and it clicked off automatically. Not sure if thisd is a design flaw but nonetheless it made a lovely cup of hot honey and Cicilian lemon. The blue light which comes on when the kettle is in action is lovely and bright and seeing the water inside is good too. My last kettle was nowhere near as nice and it clogged up with limescale and the lid wouldn't open to fill in the end prompting me to buy this one. I am happy with my new Aigostar Kettle and Toaster, they are classy looking and stylish and they do the job well. Beautiful even toast and piping hot clean water. The toasteer was larger than I thought it would be but as it is slimmer than my previous 4 slot Toaster it fitted nicely on the counter with more space to spare in front of it than my last bulky Moprhy Richards 4 slice toaster similar in design to the one mistakenly reviewed on this page made by Cusimax, and I like the longer style better than the more bulky more square or box type retro design with front levers for switching on and off as opposed to one at the side like this Aigostar toaster. I like the way you can select the level of browning you prefer too it is brilliant and it is nice that the selection panel graphically illustrates the colour of the toast you want as opposed to a tacky dial with numbers on it and you are left wondering what your toast will look like when it pops up. Lots of plus factors with these products, not found on other brands of the same type. I was puzzled with the kettle at first as I am used to a peddle type on and off lever on the base or side of the handle but on this kettle it is near the lid on the handle, under the button which when pressed opens the lid fo filling. I prefer this to be honest. There are reviews on this page that are very negative and it would appear from the photos posted by the reviewers that the wrong toaster is being reviewed and also one that is a different brand too. Please don't confulse the reviews with the toaster on this page which appear to be for the Cusimax Stainless Steel Toaster and not the Aigostar 4-Slice Long Slot Toaster Stainless Steel featured on this page and which DOES unlike the Cusimax, have extra wide slots and toasts evenly across the slice of bread. The controls on this Aigostar are touch screen and the handle is on the side not the front as with the Cusimax. I have had a lot of toasters over the past 50 years and this is the best yet and my previous ones have been famous UK brands too. I think this is a good buy for the price you pay too compared with the more famous UK brands which are an extortionate price an you are paying for the more famous UK known brands too. It is easy to use and the cancel button is vital and I toasted large thick sliced Tiger bread and it was the perfect colour and evenly toasted across the slice. You won't get better value than this Toaster and Kettle from Aigostar, which is an brand I had never heard of before I bought these two lovely products. I was a chef many years ago and have cooked for Royalty in 5 star top spec restuarants and used high spec professional catering toasters which were very expensive and this beats those. I wondered if I would receive a cheap tacky plastic kettle like some transparent ones are but when this one came it was anything but tacky an cheap looking, so all in all I am glad I bought these products. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Works as described
It’s a good toaster that works as I expected. The pictures of the toast matches the toast that pops out so all good and easily fits 4 slices. Sour dough bread needs level 5

The worst toaster I have ever owned
Unfortunately I gave this toaster the benefit of the doubt and its now too late to return it. If it was possible to give no stars I would. This is, without doubt, the worst toaster I have ever owned. My fault for going cheap after years of a trusty Dualit. It routinely burns toast. It grabs and holds on to crumpets. I hate it with every fibre of my being. Why I kept giving it second chances I do not know. It will now be relegated to the garage, in the box that my new Dualit is being delivered in tomorrow, to come out only in times of dire emergency or when I fancy burnt toast or a partly macerated crumpet.

Failed to last.
Nice looking and worked well until today. One side of the toaster has failed and now trips the electric out. We now have a 2 slice toaster and of course the support ran out yesterday. Not happy, I do expect things to last for more than 2 years.

Versatile and Reliable Toaster with Minor Design Flaws
I recently added the Aigostar 4-Slice Stainless Steel Toaster to my kitchen, and overall, it has been a great addition. It’s versatile, with features that cater to a variety of toasting needs, but there are a few areas where it could be improved. Pros: Independent Controls: The toaster features independent controls for each pair of slots, allowing you to toast different types of bread simultaneously at different settings. This is really convenient when you have different preferences in browning or are toasting different bread types. Extra-Wide Slots: The extra-wide slots are perfect for toasting a variety of bread sizes, including thicker slices like artisan bread, bagels, or crumpets. The slots handle them well without getting stuck, which is a big plus. Variable Browning Settings: With multiple browning settings, you can easily customize your toast to your liking, whether you prefer it lightly golden or crispy. The toaster is consistent in delivering the selected level of browning, which is great for those who are particular about their toast. Defrost and Reheat Functions: The defrost function is very handy for toasting frozen bread straight from the freezer, and the reheat function allows you to warm up toast without further browning it. Both features add to the versatility of this appliance. High Lifting Mechanism: The high-lift lever makes it easy to remove smaller items like English muffins or crumpets without burning your fingers. It’s a thoughtful feature that adds to the convenience of the toaster. Stainless Steel Design: The sleek stainless steel finish looks great on the countertop and is easy to clean. It adds a modern touch to the kitchen and is relatively durable. Cons: Uneven Toasting: Occasionally, the toasting can be slightly uneven, with one side of the bread getting more browned than the other. It’s not a consistent issue, but it can happen depending on the type of bread used. Large Footprint: The toaster is quite large, which is to be expected for a 4-slice model, but it does take up a significant amount of counter space. If you have a small kitchen, this might be something to consider. Exterior Gets Hot: The stainless steel exterior can get quite hot during use, so you need to be careful when handling it. This is a bit of a safety concern, especially if you have children around. Cord Length: The power cord is on the shorter side, which could limit where you can place the toaster on your countertop. A longer cord or cord storage option would be a nice improvement. Crumb Tray Design: While the toaster does have a crumb tray, it can be a bit fiddly to remove and clean. It’s not a major issue, but a more user-friendly design would make maintenance easier. Conclusion: The Aigostar 4-Slice Stainless Steel Toaster is a versatile and efficient appliance that offers good value for its price. With independent controls, wide slots, and useful features like defrost and reheat, it meets a variety of toasting needs with ease. However, it has some minor design flaws, such as the potential for uneven toasting, a hot exterior, and a large footprint, that might be drawbacks for some users. Despite these issues, it’s a reliable toaster that performs well in most situations, making it a solid choice for families or anyone who enjoys a good slice of toast.
