It’s probably a throw back to their days living on the street, but both my senior cats are used to scarfing down their food and not chewing properly. Blackie (14/15 yrs old at 20 lbs) is the one with the really sensitive tummy & digestive issues that would lead to the cycle of eating and regurgitating later. He is also the one that had hernia surgery that included a few dental extractions, so the food ‘recycling’ process only got worse and veterinary visits more regular. Our veterinarian recommended several brands of foods to try that were specifically formulated to be easy to digest, and Royal Canin was one. Of course, it was the last one on the list that he liked the most. Kudos for creating kibbles that standout from other brands with a unique donut shape. I can’t speak for the taste, but this is the only food that has forced Blackie to slow down and chew when eating so no more regurgitating and stress on his tummy & throat muscles. Ditto for Sandy, who ‘sneaks’ to eat the food because he likes it, which is a good thing! The Digestive Care formula has another unexpected benefit that I’ve noticed. Since Sandy is on pro-plan weight management, I decided to see how off his diet he’s strayed "stealing' the Royal Canin and it is less calories! 1 cup Digestive Care is 333 kcal vs 1 cup pro plan weight management at 455 kcal! Overall, I’d say the food provides the nutrition both senior cats require in a digestible formula and kibble shape that has worked well for us since 2019. It’s a little on the expensive side, but well worth it if you’re tired of cleaning 'throw up' from rugs and costly vet visits. Definitely, 5-stars!

This food is amazing. My cat has made a huge turn around in her health. She rarely throws up her food and her poops are better. I recommend this for older cats that throw up their food a lot and are constipated.

Cats love the flavor! It’s funny because I have always thought this food smells good compared to other pets foods. Felt that like was a good sign. My cats love this food. It is also a vet recommended brand. The price is a-little steep but I do think it’s worth it. I have them on this digestive variety because they have a tendency to throw up. They are still throwing up sometimes but I think they eat too fast and other factors like hairballs. I even switched my dog to Royal Canin & he loves it too! If you have a picky eater but want to feed high quality food, try Royal Canin!

This is the only dry food that consistently works for my ragdoll cats. They both have extremely sensitive digestion, and every other brand we tried caused stomach issues or loose stools. With this food, their digestion is noticeably more stable and predictable. They also genuinely like the taste, which makes feeding time easy. The food size works well and doesn’t cause them to throw up after eating. It’s more expensive, but it has been 100% worth it for us.

This product has changed my cats life for the better.he is 16 and just fished his first 6 pound bag and 3 month’s later he’s a different cat.this is his food from now on and he loves it!

I really really wish this came in larger quantities. My cats like the food fine and the larger size I think helps reduce the vomiting from one of mine who eats way too fast. The only downside really is it is somewhat expensive and you cannot buy a very large bag, but it is quality food and they eat it so I am going to keep sticking with this for them

My cat is very unfortunately prone to getting swollen anal glands that require the vets assistance to resolve. Someone on the Internet recommended trying this food and it has done wonders for her. No more issues since she started eating this food.

Our four-year-old cat was vomiting 2 to 4 times a week and on the regular Royal Canin Adult dry cat food. We tried all sorts of solutions such as feeding her small portions several times a day to prevent eating too fast. We then tried Digestive Care and she’s been eating it for two months and seems to like it. There has been an amazing improvement in her digestion- she now only vomits only about once A MONTH. Side note- she also is more affectionate/wanting to cuddle and I think that’s due to no longer having tummy troubles.

We were buying cheap cat food which was making our cats poop smell really bad, very strong potent smell that was just nasty. This cat food was recommended by ChatGPT to reduce their poop smell and boy are we glad we listened. We noticed a huge difference from day one. We went from cleaning their litter almost daily to being able to go 3-5 days before the smells start to linger. If we sneak some low quality food into their diet we can tell right away, the difference in the smell is that noticeable. I’ve recommend this cat food to other family members and even brought some over, their cats won’t eat anything else now.

Dans notre cas ça vaut le coût de payer un peu plus cher pour une nourriture de qualité. Notre chat de 13 ans a commencé à avoir des problème de digestion. En ayant commencé à le nourrir avec cette nourriture il y a deux mois tout est rentré dans l'ordre. Et pour un chat avec des goûts difficiles, il l'adore!
