Very Good at Any Price
Bought this as a heavier duty 1 1/2" nylon no-metal belt option to my Tru-Spec and Cabela's single ply ones that I can rough up without gnashing my teeth over it. Will use almost exclusively for hot weather IWB handgun carry with cargo shorts and an oversize tee, and possibly with jeans on casual trips via airline. It gets a 4 star rating, for now, because it's an 18 dollar belt, and until I see it hold up over time. So far, am pleased with the design and construction. The single ply at the buckle pivot is great as it minimizes bulk, the stitching is tight and reasonably well recessed at this price point, and the stiffness is, to me, a just right balance for carrying a mid-size handgun and a spare mag without sag and rollover versus the ones with plastic inserts that are too stiff unless one intends to carry a bunch of duty gear on it, something for which this belt is NOT intended. I do like the buckle, despite some negative comments in reviews, as it's essentially the same as my Tru-Spec belt buckles, and I've never had one of these types allow slipping as long as it's donned correctly and someone isn't hanging too much gear or pot belly off of it. Essentially, it's simple and secure if the wearer uses it right.I always buy a longer casual belt size than I wear with a dress belt because I like to get plenty of overlap to accommodate multiple clothes types/wearing options, and I just cut it down to suit me. For this one, I ordered the XXL (I normally wear a size Large), and cut off about 5" with a cherry red hot old kitchen knife and some care. Easy job, and smooth result. This leaves me about 9" to 10" or so overlap and will work with shorts up to hunting coveralls, the 'Fashion Police' be darned. Better too long than too short. One gripe is no keeper for the extra length, but since it's for work, not show, I simply cut a piece of Velcro One Wrap to size, fit it over a double thickness of belt, and with the fuzzy side out it's not noticeable by anybody unless they are too darn close to you...No need to unfold it each time. Just slide on/off and into place as needed. Have done this for years with all my nylon belts - works fine.If the stitching holds up well, I'll upgrade this to a '5" later, based on what I've seen so far. NO WAY to beat the value for the price as it is right now....UPDATE 9/25/20This latest purchase is Mission Elite belt #6. Now a 5 Star item to me. Worn regularly as both a carry belt for a G36 or G30 and a spare mag, and with jeans or cargo pants. Worn 5 days at Disney World and very comfortable for long wear. No airlines security problems, either. NEVER slips. MUCH better than the costlier ones with plastic or metal inserts for normal EDC. This newest one arrived with 'Wolf Tactical' on the package, and on the belt label, but it's the exact same belt as the one with the Mission Elite label, and a further check shows the company is Mission Elite/Wolf Tactical. Same song, different verse...I have 3 expensive HD leather belts by a name brand, the combined price of them would buy 14 of these Mission/Wolf belts, that now hang full time in the closet as these are much friendlier.....

Fine in every way except....
It's just too thick. I don't mean the width of it, which is 1.5" , I mean the smallest of the three dimension. It's like twice as thick as a normal webbing belt. This is fine for those that a heavier belt for a lot of gear carried on it, but it's not my need. The thickness makes it more difficult to thread through loop, and into the buckle. Once there, the belt is comfortable enough and holds my pants up, but it's just too thick. So, I'm returning it. the Length was just right for me: I wear 36 Waist in pants, and I got the Large length. I like that the product page has a sizing chart on it, I think all clothes/belt listings should have that.I just noticed that it says in the title that it's a 2-ply belt. That means something to me now that I have it.

Great customer service. May need to order slightly bigger though.
This belt has grown on me. As promised I would leave a final review. My first was not a very good one due to not liking (getting used to) the buckle. Which is just fine now. I wasn't happy that the tag was upside down... come to find out I was wearing it inside out. Lol. The material is thicker than most but still a little flimsy-ish... BUT!!!.... it adds to comfort wearing twelve to fourteen hours a day since it conforms with my waistline. My biggest gripe was how short the belt is cut. I'm still a bit put off by this but it gives the belt a cleaner look as you wear it. I am a size 34 waist in belts due to IWB carry. This leaves very little to work with to retighten the belt if it has worked loose while wearing my pistol. I have since gotten used to this as well and made due. I believe an additional inch or two inches in the length will aid the buyer in a better grip and alleviate this issue... or I may be the only one with this problem. Texturing the inside of the buckle may help with the belt coming loose as well. Customer service is great. They initially saw my first review with only one star and immediately sent an email asking what was wrong and offered tips. This is how I came to find out I wore my belt inside out. Why not make it an option to showcase the company though? And as of today they even sent a final follow up email asking if I've managed to have a change of heart with the belt or if there are still concerns... etc. so from my first impression until today, I have truly come around and actually have grown to like this belt. 5 stars would have been my final review if it weren't for these few things I mentioned but four are still good.UPDATE: Sunday 10 October 2021…This belt has been my daily belt whether at work or off. I have gone out without my pistol and with it on. I have carried IWB from 5 o’ clock to AIWB. I have also run this belt as a range belt with an OWB strong side holster between 12 o’clock to 3 o’ clock position. If you’re going to use this belt for carry use understand that it is not a reinforced belt that you would spend a hundred or more on. This belt may sag a bit if you are running a heavy double stack pistol. During long hikes with a sidearm I’ve noticed it says and needs some slight retightening. In hot weather (Colorado sometimes at or above 100°F) it seems to absorb sweat. Then again… any other belt will. Yes there are some belts that have materials that won’t but you won’t find them at the price point on this belt on Amazon. This belt has held up for four plus years of daily use. It has some frays starting from my use but I can run a lighter to take care of that. Otherwise I am still surprised with the comfort, durability, and longevity I’ve gotten out of this belt. One more update…. March 30, 2024. Still my daily belt. Have only had to clean the webbing up with a quick touch with a lighter. The polymer on the buckle is still running strong. The teeth are worn down but, I can do a light stipple and they’ll be good as new. For the price and simplicity of the belt you can’t go wrong.

Good gun belt 4 the price.
I got 2 of these belts because I couldn't pass up the price. Got a black and a olive color. The belt is thick and holds your EDC. However, due to buckle design it's freaking difficult to tighten the belt and keep tight. And it's also tedious to take belt off especially if you gotta use the bathroom to take a dump. It's could be a awesome belt but the buckle and retention is just a pain. I wanted to love this belt however, it's very difficult and that's probably why it was so cheap. You could cut off buckle and if you have a old belt around that snaps together you could try that. Which I'm planning to do, as soon as I have time to. For the price it's great and belt is sturdy. The buckle though sucks!
