OSD Audio 6.5" Outdoor Patio Speaker Pair 150W, IP54 Weather Resistant, Full Motion Bracket Black AP650

These are a really strong value for outdoor speakers hitting what I think is a sweet spot in price. There's a lot of really cheap and really expensive outdoor speakers on the market, I think these hit a good mid point and deliver quality for the money. The woofers are sealed, not ported, so out of the box they have less bass than some other designs, but with a little EQ (bass boost) they can sound significantly better than their ported counterparts. Top end is clear but not harsh thanks to the soft dome tweeter. I mounted them under an eave by my patio and the brackets were easy to use. Complaints: * spring-loaded terminals are tiny, would much rather have something that accepts banana plugs or speakon * tweeter waveguide is setup for horizontal dispersion, but I have to mount them on their side which messed that up a bit, wish it was round or adjustable. Overall, super happy for the money spent. having them always there and hooked up to an amp and airport express means I can just walk outside and cast music from my phone on demand. no more charging portable speakers or lugging equipment outside.

I bought the OSD 6.5" Outdoor Patio Speaker Pair 150W, IP54 Weather Resistant, Full Motion Bracket White speakers. I read a lot of the reviews on these speakers, and most people liked them pretty well, so for $200 a pair I took a chance and ordered them for my patio. I admit I'm not a master audiophile, but I'm 65 and have been listening to music all my life, been through dozens of speaker/amp systems over the years, and I'm pretty critical about my music sound. I expected for the price and the reviews I saw, that I'd get some average sounding speakers, and that was OK. However... after using them for a while I have come to LOVE the sound these things put out!! I've had several friends, neighbors, and family members say "WOW, those speakers sound great!". So I am very happy with them, and highly recommend them.

I’ve used these 6.5” speakers for my pool, which is approximately 24 feet away from where I mounted them. Despite this distance, they deliver excellent sound at low to mid volumes. The installation was incredibly straightforward, as expected. While the bass response isn’t as punchy as I had hoped, that’s understandable given the challenges of outdoor bass. I have the OSD in ceiling speakers at another home and they are substantially more punchy in terms of base.. They’re powered by a Sonos amp. These are simple and basic speakers that your friends and family will surely enjoy.

They’re on the large side and provide much more sound then I will probably ever use, but I’d rather have it and not need it then the other way around. Also, they sound crystal clear at low volume just as much as they do pumped up. I’m running them from a tiny Fosi Bluetooth amp that is rated at 320wattsX2 ch driven, and they operate perfectly together. I would buy this set up again 100 times over, and I would absolutely purchase from this company again as well!

I bought these to replace a set of TIC outdoor speakers. The TICs were great, but one speaker broke. I can’t complain because they served me well for 8 years. I was going to get TICS again but decided to go a different direction. These sound better than the TICs, though it isn’t fair to compare new to 8 year old speakers. As far as these sound, they sound great. They have great “punch”. I can’t imagine the the higher priced brands would perform any better. For the price, these sound great outdoors and provide excellent value.

It's not easy finding white speakers below $200 that sound really good, but these may well be it. These OSDs have good specs on paper in comparison with Yamaha and Polk white speakers and in use, to my ears, they produce clear, rich, full, detailed sound. I also spoke to OSD before purchasing them and they sounded personal and professional at customer service. It's exciting to see a small US manufacturer (located in Brea, CA) provide consumers with quality "white" speakers at this price, so I hope they keep making/improving them and for more folks to try them. I am using this pair indoors in a 400 sq. foot living room and playing mostly vinyl. I plan to buy another pair for another room without hesitation! Highly recommended.

I purchased three pairs of these speakers. In a short time the speaker covers have fallen off of all six speakers. I called OSD Audio and they truly do not care. Please do not purchase these for outdoor use. You will be unhappy.

I am very happy with these speakers. They handle a lot of power and provide a surprising low end. I have used Polk and Russound outdoor speakers in the past and these sound every bit as good at a lot less money. Very good value. The only problem was with the vendor who shipped me the wrong speakers to start. Finally got things straightened out, but I did not have sound for my July 4th party.

Those speakers are just perfect for small or medium size patio. I bought 2 pair of them for my restaurant little terrasse. I'm so happy to have a very good quality sound all over the place. perfect for medium to medium-high volume. best quality resolution for pop, indie, trip-pop, jazz, rock. if you plan to play electro or house music, and over heavy beat with big bass. I would definitely recommend to add a sub' or go for something bigger. From the same brand I would also recommend the ASD Audio AMP120 Pro amplifier. after looking on line for the best quality and price amplifier to plug my 4 AP650. I found that the AMP120 was the best. cheap and easy to plug.

Very nice speakers. They work very well and I find they have enough bass and volume. The grill also comes off if they need cleaning. Excellent speakers very happy!

The speaker covers blew off in the wind. Couldn't find them. Had my Yamaha speakers for 35 years and are still good.

Belle qualité sonore, grave surprenante! Je recommande!
