I did a fairly extensive review on the web of the best free-standing punchbags. This was one of the highest rated at the best price. It gets better reviews than most of the big names for such a product. It seems to be a product that some companies are selling on a whitelabel basis - so it isn't actually sold by a big multinational - however it is a product worthy of one. I have been using this for a few weeks now. I am 6ft 2" and around 200 pounds but fairly novice at boxing. Filled even with water, I don't move the item very much. I imagine that when filled with sand that it would take some whacking (the suckers are also durable and worth paying the extra money for). I highly recommend this well made product. The service was also great.

I wanted to go to a boxing gym only to punch heavy bag, however, they are so costly so I decided to get one of this, I bought the 6ft high, taller than me and I can say it is worth it with the aid of some tutorial from you tube I started hitting this aggressively for 4 x a week, for a total of 3 weeks now (No kicking yet as the space is tight). Anyhow, for me the built is good, the plastic stand once you filled it full with water is stable enough (will depend how strong you are) with only few movement, I think combined with suction cups it will be more stable but maybe not a best option for me cause I need to slide it to a corner once Im done.

The base loses sand (the plastic base cracked after a couple of days and the sand that I placed there goes out). It's not 6 feet as advertised. I am 5.10 in American units and this thing is smaller than me by a couple of inches. I had to super glue the plastic suction plastics to the floor because they were releasing too often after a few hits. The quality of the punching area itself is good, so bit terrible but not really satisfied either... Just "meh".
