One item I can't do without whilst out and about
I initially purchased this pouch device, because it made a heap of sense to me to carry medicine in different pouches. My first go with this , I was placing pills into one of the pouches and it slid out onto the table. I contacted amazon and they said I would need to return the whole thing so I did so. My second version has been fine and has helped me make medication easier to take in my backpack or handbag.

Perfect for travel, compact, light and fits in tight quarters.
I purchased this pill case for a recent two-week trip to Italy. I was packing things very compressed, so a hard shell pill case with lids wasn't going to work - I needed something that would sit as flat as possible. There are 16 zippered and numbered plastic pouches that fit in this case. If you take meds once a day, this case is perfect for a two week trip with a couple of spare pouches. My problem was that I took meds twice a day, morning and evening. On a 14-day trip, this case really would have been short a few pouches. The solution for me was to use small 2x2 plastic ziploc bags (which can be purchased here). My morning pills went into the ziploc and the evening pills went loose into the case's pouch for the same day. This allowed me to carry the two week supply and have some room to spare. This case has a zippered compartment on the outside. I used mine for a pharmacy printout of my medications, in case there were questions at airports or customs (there never were on my trip). The best part for me was fitting this nice, very flat and compact case into the "carry-on closet" of my suitcase, which compresses the contents to fit more in a smaller space. If you're traveling and need meds, don't carry a plastic box - use this.

Easy to pack and holds a lot
This is the third one of these pill organizers that I’ve purchased. I bought two when I was going on a two-week trip, and misplaced one after I got home. (I’m sure that it will turn up now that I’ve bought a replacement.). These organizers take up almost no space in luggage, they don’t open accidentally (unlike those plastic flip-top pill organizers), and they help you keep track of whether you’ve taken your pills when you’re dealing with “what time zone am I in, and what day is it?” travel brainfog. The two negative points are that the little plastic bags are a pain to fill, and the bags can split along the seam. (Only one of mine did, and I’m not sure why. It was only a partial split, and the bag was still usable. I wish replacement bags were available, though.). If you have a lot of pills, I recommend sorting them out beforehand, and then putting all of the pills for each day into the bag at once, rather than opening and closing the bags for each pill. (I used my plastic flip-top pill organizer, then dumped the contents of each day’s container into the appropriate bag of the travel organizer.)

Honest travel essential
If you are going on a vacation that will be longer than a week, this is the product for you. I liked my husband so much that I bought my own. We’ve been doing more traveling and I find it essential now. I even bought one as a gift for a friend who also travels. She loves it!
