Arrived broken
Item arrived broken, wet glass everywhere. Garbage. Can't use broken full of glass item. Terrible

For the everyday gourmets
I am very happy with this purchase. There are two little black truffles into little juice in this little glass jar and once opened there is flavor that comes out of it. Sure it is not fresh truffles from the Perigord, but to cook a modest omelette or to make a soup it is perfect!

good pricing but pretty much flavorless
Not bad. Pricing is decent for a whole brined truffle. Doesn't have much flavor. I used truffle oil and truffle salt to cook my food, so that gave it the truffle flavor and these served almost exclusively as a garnish

Not good for shaving but good flavors
Since it was in the liquid you can’t shave it and it is very hard to cut even with a sharp knife

Bit over-rated
It was OK but not worth the money. Flavour was far too mild. I ended up using the whole jar in about two meals.Better off with dried shiitake mushrooms which at least taste of mushrooms. And it wasn't just my "dull taste-buds". My partner felt the same.We had an omelette with truffle-shavings and all we could taste was omelette. Won't bother again.

I always wanted to try truffles but once is enough with these
They’re not very big but for the price that is somewhat expected. The smell was quite strong but not sure, if the taste was from the actual product or the liquid inside the jar. I did enjoy them on omelettes, Beyond Meat burger and on pasta, and it may have been either this or the truffle salt which I also use which may have imparted the flavour. In any case itch scratched, do not likely to buy again.

Eh, it’s okay.
The jar is much smaller then I expected, it fits in the palm of my hand. But the big reason for only 3 stars is the flavour of these are very weak. Even the tiny flecks in my black truffle salt are stronger then this. It’s takes a whole slice before you can really taste it.
