I had actually painted a faux leather tissue box using ordinary acrylic paint instead of sealing actual leather. Even after it was thoroughly dry, the paint was super tacky. I decided to use this sealer since it was the closest thing I could find for faux leather, even though it's meant for real leather. I considered Mod Podge but thought I'd spring for the "real" stuff. It went on smoothly with an ordinary foam brush and left very little (if any) streaking. It lightened the color *ever* so slightly but the difference is minimal. More importantly, there was NO tackiness to the paint The first picture is before applying the sealer and the 2nd one is after. It sealed it beautifully and the matte finish looks great! Easy to use, good quality product!

I'm almost to the bottom of this bottle and it has lasted a good long time. I use it as a clear top coat over Angelus paints on hand-painted dog collars and leashes. Without this clear top coat, I find that the paint scratches up pretty quickly. But, with a thin coat of this top coat, my painted designs seem to last forever. I did have to learn how to apply it properly - if the paint wasn't completely dry before I applied the top coat, or if I used the wrong applicator, it caused my paint to bleed. It also destroyed some brushes - I found if I use a fine, synthetic brush, and apply a very thin coat using gentle, long brushstrokes in one direction, holding the brush at a narrow angle from the surface, I have no problems and am also able to clean and resuse the brush. I clean the brush immediately using rubbing alcohol, then soap and water. I only ever need a single coat of this top coat. It's great stuff!

Put on my OC boots for work. Toe and heel are glossy. Better than leather luster and easier than kiwi. Pictures are after a week in dirt and sand still look good

I want to preface this by saying that I adore Angelus leather dye and fillers. I’ve tried other dyes and fillers, but Angelus is superior. HOWEVER, this is pure garbage. I put this over a vintage leather bag that I had dyed black that was originally eggshell and after it dried for a few hours, I noticed some spots that looked like they were cracking. I thought maybe they just weren’t dry yet, so I waited and they were still these. I tried to buff it out with a cloth thinking that would work, but it started PEELING off. Like the exact same way that your skin peels after a sunburn. It’s awful now I’m trying to peel this crap off of my bag that I’ve been restoring for so long. Also, the consistency is like glue. It’s not easy to spread at all and turned out patchy because of it. The last issue is was pulling fibers out of my brush on the second coat and now I have those little wool fibers stuck in the coat. I usually use wool brushes to dye or paint leather to avoid brush strokes. I know the bottle says to use a paint brush, but this is just standard for me. The bottle also says to apply two or three coats before drying, but when I went back for the second coat, that glue like texture was even tougher to apply and this is what cause the fibers to be pulled out. I didn’t have any issues with this applying the first coat with a wool brush. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed in Angelus with this product because their other products are the best. They really need to work on this one and probably use Leather Hero’s top coat as a model product!

J'utilisais l'ancienne version, l'qcrylic finisher matte, pour mettre sur mes custom de chaussures. Le pot étant vide, j'ai dû en racheter d'urgence, pour finaliser une commande. C'était le seul qui était livré à temps. Et je ne regrette pas mon choix ! Légèrement cher, mais je le trouve bien plus efficace que l'acrylic finisher ! Facile à appliquer et séchage rapide.

Es exactamente lo que marca la publicación y protege muy bien la pintura, solo hay que ajitar antes de usar sobre todo cuando pasa mucho tiempo, en mi caso hago aplicación con aerografo directamente

Ottimo prodotto, l’ho usato come finitura di un paio di scarpe modificate e l’ho trovato molto buono e ha una finitura più opaca confronto alle altre finiture
