I had a specific reason behind this purchase of Namaste Health's Complete H2O Minerals Magnesium Water.My kiddo developed a "nervous tic" a couple of weeks ago... I was scheduled for surgery, and after she was told about it she started a head jerk. Well, needless to say I was quite concerned. Almost to point of cancelling my surgery to tend to her..But it ended up that I spent an evening researching tics in children and the majority of articles and forums that I happened upon said many children develop them at some point, and most are due to low magnesium levels.I figured it couldn't hurt. Magnesium is a necessary mineral in our bodies, and I know she doesn't eat the healthiest of diets.. shes 6, veggies are evil!Well, after a scant 2 teaspoons over course of 2 days, and my surgery being successful I am happy to say the tic is gone!!Can I say for sure what caused it to start and what caused it to go away? No, I cant.. but I will say it eased up in severity shortly after her first tsp.Of course before giving it to her I tasted it and yech! You will have a fight on your hands if you try to get a kid to take it off spoon.. so I mixed it with juice.She is better, I am better, and I know that her magnesium level is good.. so I'm happy. Next physical we will discuss this episode and verify medically, but for today I am pleased with this purchase!
