Very well made traps. Fish get in and can't find their way out. You should see the crabs that they're capable of collecting. I'll buy more of this specific trap in the future

I like the pop up aspect but I checked trap 20 min after setting and went back in the morning and empty. Bait and no little fish to be found. I was contacted by seller to see if there was anything they could do to improve my experience and that means a lot so I changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. the bottom line is if you are trying to catch large minnows, crabs etc. Im sure its great. but if your trying to catch small minnows in a pond for fishing the netting is a bit too wide and the small ones escape easily.

I used these for crawfish gathering, and they did well for that. However, as others have noted, there is no zipper for removing them, or baiting the traps. What should take a few seconds by opening the traps and dumping them takes several minutes since you must reach into the trap and grab each crawfish individually by hand and remove them. I'd have returned them but my trip was the morning after these arrived, and I couldn't find my other traps...so it was these or nothing. I guess in my case they actually were better than nothing.
