a wonderful cup of coffee!
After reading all the reviews, and spending money on other inferior french presses, I decided to buy this one, which seems to be approved by the connoisseurs out there. It made a wonderfully rich coffee, and i am so happy with it. I'm not sure if I just have big cups at home, (i thought they were standard), but this size really only comfortably makes two mugs worth. Otherwise, easy to use, easy to clean, and looks classy. I also learned it's the brand used by high end hotels.

Heavy duty.
It's a coffee press, and it works. Probably about the twentieth I've owned, but I don't ever expect to have to replace this. It is so solid and heavy duty! Even the filter part is very robust. Yeah, great quality

Excellent coffee pot that keeps contents warm for at least an hour!
Bought for my nephew’s birthday present. My husband purchased one himself about 15 years ago, and it’s still going strong! Uses it every day and thoroughly recommends it. I am hopeful the one for my nephew matches up to it. Over time he has only had to replace the mesh filter twice (in 15 years). Definitely worth the cost.

Really good but slight flex on the top!
Excellent French press, most people will be very happy with this, quality design and good build. Issue I have is that it has a tiny flex on the lid when you press down on it. The handle is great also!

Only 4 minutes to a great cup of coffee
Item received as advertised. Shipped promptly. Quality construction. No moving parts to get lost. Nothing can break. I pour hot water in the shell to heat it while the water is boiling, then I followed the instructions for making coffee that the manufacturer recommends. Only 4 minutes to a great cup of coffee. Be sure you are using a coarse grind, and if you are not drinking all the coffee, pour the remainder into a preheated thermos.
