No but an ounce will fit in a quart size mason jar

Is the cost for 2 jars only?If so, what makes them so expensive?Why spend so much for two jars when one can purchase 12 for $8? I'm missing a detail.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not make 2 packs which is why this listing was created. Obviously there are costs associated with creating, packaging and shipping smaller quantities. Some people do not need all 12 jars and are happy to pay for the convenience of two jars being shipped to their home.
