In one day wearing its all threads are coming out. It is looking like very old socks. Don’t waste your money nor worth. Very very poor quality

These have become my "go-to" socks when I'm packing my gym bag. They're incredibly soft, comfortable, wash like a dream (no shrinking!) and wear very well. The toe area is seamless - no rubbing or irritation! - and the footbed is well-cushioned. Plenty of room in the heel. I'm prone to developing blisters, but these socks live up to their blister-resist promise. I'm done with my Running Room socks ... Balegas are a far better product, for less money. Advertised for men and women, but may be on the small size. I'm a size 8 and purchased a medium. My husband is a 10.5 wide and wears XL.

A bit pricey but very high quality

I’ve been rotating through a bunch of running socks over the years, but these Balega Blister Resist Quarter ones have quickly become my absolute favorites for longer runs, hikes, and even daily wear. What stands out: • Blister resistance is real: The natural mohair blend (mixed with Drynamix polyester) seriously reduces friction. I’ve done 15–20 km trail runs and urban long runs with zero hot spots or blisters, even when my feet get sweaty. The seamless toe and deep heel pocket lock everything in place without rubbing. • Cushioning and comfort: Medium cushion under the footbed, heel, and Achilles feels plush and protective without being too bulky. It’s like running on clouds compared to thinner socks. The arch band provides nice compression for support without feeling tight. • Moisture management: They wick sweat away really well and keep feet surprisingly dry. Mohair helps with natural temperature regulation, so feet stay comfortable in a wide range of conditions. • Fit and stay-put: The quarter height is perfect (covers the ankle nicely without sliding down), elastic grip at the top and heel cup is spot-on. No bunching or slipping during movement. • Durability: After a dozen washes (cold, air dry), they still look and feel almost new. A bit of fuzzing on the mohair is normal and cosmetic—doesn’t affect performance. Minor cons (if any): • They’re a tad thicker than super-light racing socks, so maybe not ideal for hot summer speedwork (I’d switch to something thinner then). But for most of the year, that’s actually a plus for extra warmth and padding. At around $20–22 a pair, they’re worth every penny if you hate blisters and want socks that feel premium right out of the package. These are now my go-to for everything from 5K park runs to weekend hikes. Most comfortable pair of socks I own. Highly recommend, grab a couple pairs!
