I am satisfied with the amount of chalk I get when I purchase the chunks ..I usually purchase huge amounts and bake the entire batch ..and store them until am ready...The texture turns hard and grainy ...which is what I love...

I purchased the brand before , but it was the sticks, but the sticks wasn't in stock , so I opted to purchase the chunks , big mistake . The taste was terrible , it tasted very odd, like stale , when I looked at the date of manufacture/packaging it was in 2021. hence the reason for that old / odd taste . Amazon what are you really selling for customers to consume.? It came opened as well, I live out of the USA and to send it back would cost alot . So I am at a loss of 60.00 USD ..Will never purchase again.......

Weighed over the 35oz I ordered, has a wonderful velvety texture but with a nice crunch, and it has a nice, mild earthy taste. These chunks are larger than I thought they’d be which is nice! They’re handy to grab and munch on. Seems to be less waste than with the sawn bars that always arrived broken.

It taste like chalk after baking. It's has a nice gritt and crunch, the dryness for me is perfect. I baked in the oven for 10-15 mins on 400° anything over that makes it too hard. I did not bake three pieces at first I want to see if airing it out would be best, I let them sit for about a week then try eating but I did not like the texture so I also baked those but for 5 mins once it was kool I tried it and I could taste the earthiness it was perfect. Would order again but its too expensive.😮‍💨

Dry in oven it will develop a better taste and almost a glass like sounding crunch… sooo much better dried in oven

It has a funny after taste sort of like soap. I let it sit out for weeks and today (purchased 11/6) it’s still disgusting and gritty. Stick to the Belgorod sticks or the chunks in the smaller bag this is definitely a disappointment.

I normally order the bag of chalk from this company, but I find the box to be way better. The taste is so different and wonderful. Almost fruity? And the texture is a lot different as well, and varies throughout the pieces of chalk i definitely see what people mean when they say the box of chalk is softer, but I really enjoy that a lot. Will be ordering again once my husband and I finish this box!

Do not buy. I usually buy the 7oz bag of chalk sticks and have no issue. Then I bought the 7oz chunks bag and they were fine as well. So assuming the box would be the same quality, I ignored the reviews of rust stains and these chalk chunks had nothing but rust spots and stains. Wasted $50 for worthless chalk that wasn’t edible. Will not be buying from this brand again.
