Amazing Product
After reviewing several reviews and doing comparisons with other brands. The EVO 870 was the one who got the highest ratings with almost no negative feedbacks. Even though it is 40% more expensive than other brands I decided to go for it as my laptop is a 10 years old Samsung an should have to compatibility issues, and I was right so far. The installation and cloning was easy and straight forward, boosted the laptop performance incredibly, startup reduced from almost 9 minutes to less than a minute, all programs open smoothly. It is very good value for money, it is advisable to upgrade the RAMs as well,

King of the SATA III Drives!
This Samsung 870 EVO 4TB is easily the best SATA III drive you can buy, and the price is absolutely great for the quality you get. Since my PC only has two NVMe PCIe slots—which I’ve already filled with my 4TB and 2TB 990 Pros—I rely on SATA drives for all my bulk storage needs. I also have the 2TB version of the 870, and both have been incredibly reliable for keeping my massive libraries accessible without the premium cost of more NVMe expansion. The speeds max out the SATA interface, and the peace of mind you get with Samsung’s reliability makes this a perfect choice for anyone needing high-capacity secondary storage.

Funktioniert anstelle der HDD auch in einem 17 Jahre alten Gerät
Da das Produkt vom Verkäufer als "gebraucht" gekennzeichnet und entsprechend preisgünstiger war, habe ich zunächst die SMART-Daten ausgelesen. Es wurde vorher 8 mal eingeschaltet und war 34 Stunden in Betrieb, also "fast neu". Jedenfalls funktioniert die SSD nun in meinem alten ThinkPad und ich hoffe auf eine lange Lebensdauer.
